First fell in love with Freddo watching tango street dancers outside Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires. What a wonderful surprise to stumble across one while wandering Charleston. The empanadas were heavenly. The gelato was creamy and tasted just like Argentina. The sorbet was cool and refreshing on a hot, muggy day. The young lady that was serving us happened to be from Argentina and was a delight! Need to make Freddo a daily stop!
I really loved their dulce de leche gelato - I think it handily beats other ice cream I've had in CHS! The girl working was really sweet and patient even though I got there super close to closing. I will definitely be back!
