Great variety of drinks, friendly service, and good food!

This place was very busy, and it took a while for the waitress to get our orders, so give yourself some extra time or order ahead if you are on your lunch break. The food was good and the staff was nice. I will try it again, but not on an hour lunch break. This place was very clean inside.

Poor service. Ordered a small cheese pizza 30 min ago. Still waiting. Brought my husband’s meal first. Fries super salty. Cannot believe how long it takes and there are not many people here.

If you believe in freedom of speech and tolerance then do not go to Frothy Beard Brewing Company in Summerville. A group of about 15 of us were there yesterday (11/16/24) about 5/5:30 we all got a drink and I did a toast to my friends…I was toasting our new President. When the bartender yelled across the bar “no politics in here” I said it’s not politics it’s a toast and he repeated himself and then told the other bartender to tab us all out…which was not an issue because I won’t spend another dime there and hope that by sharing this many others won’t either! I guarantee you had my toast been sexually explicit, rude or crude he wouldn’t have said a word. But what is even more ridiculous is that my toast was over…he could have kept his mouth shut.

Loved this place. Super friendly staff, great food, and most importantly, great beer!
They have a great brand and I loved all of the videos they have playing on the their tvs.

Staff is extremely rude. From the hostess to the bartender to the service.
Takes 30 minutes to get a drink from the bar. Took over an hour for a server to even come to our table to take our FIRST order. Will not return.

Pretty cool spot! We were on vacation from Florida and wanted to check out local breweries. We came here and had the monster pizza slice! HUGE! My husband had the meatball sub ( he loved it) Cam was our bartender- very entertaining! Upon leaving we chatted it up with Nate- sweet guy! Good beers and great food!

I have to admit, that having moved to Charleston 4 yrs ago, I never tried this place because of the location and now I'm sorry to say it took me this long to stop in...!
Good food, very large portions - come hungry or prepared to share or take home for another delicious meal.
I tried the Sip Sip Pass IPA and this will bring me back, smooth and a great fruity after note.
As it was not crushed for the kitchen, they happily did a substitute for me of beef for the chicken in the Hail Cesar sandwich and it was perfect.
Also tried the soft pretzel appetizer and again it's a sharable size - the pimento cheese dipping stuff almost made me like pimento cheese stuff.
I will definitely be back and have no worries about referring folks to try this place.

Awesome atmosphere, service was top notch and food was on point!! The tides beer is hands down my favorite Irish red I've ever had. And playing some air hockey and pinball games while waiting on food isn't bad either. We are from Indiana and just happened in on this place and so glad we did! Y'all rock it out there, will definitely be eating here again if we make it back in this area.

Fun local place, fun trivia. Prices are mostly comparable. 6 dollar beers or more

My husband and I had the pleasure of having our wedding welcome party at frothy beard and we can’t say enough great things about our experience. We put in a request for about 80 people and had quick communication with Ryan, the general manager the entire time leading up to the weekend. Our party was originally supposed to be held on the back patio, but because of rain from Helene they quickly pivoted and turned the production room into a beautiful set up that was perfect for our welcome party. We had pizza pre ordered which were brought out perfectly timed and so delicious! Our servers were extremely attentive and brought everything out in a timely manner, which I was extremely impressed with for the size of our party. Especially with all the costs that go into planning a wedding we were extremely grateful at how reasonably priced everything was. I highly recommended holding any event here and we will definitely be rebooking for any future events we may have. Thank you to the frothy beard team for being so amazing!!
