First stop of the day was a great choice. Incredibly welcoming staff who were wonderfully helpful with directions, lovely amounts of greenery inside, a delicious iced oat milk latte and breakfast burrito make this a fantastic place to stop in Charleston.
Amazing delicious pancakes. Great atmosphere. Friendly stuff. Everything is vegan. Wonderful, wonderful!
My older daughter bought an orange cranberry scone and a vegan sausage breakfast sandwich with vegan cheddar and brought them back to my younger daughter and me. We shared some of each but I had more of the scone. Both were delicious and satisfying, without the heavy feel of similar foods with real meat and dairy. We are both vegetarians with dairy allergies. I wish we had a Gnome Cafe nearby. Absolutely delicious! My older daughter and her husband loved the atmosphere and the staff! A definite stop next time I’m in Charleston!
The cutest vegan cafe! The staff was super nice and it’s dog friendly. I stopped in with my dog to grab a bagel and iced coffee during our morning walk. Definitely recommend!
Just had a wonderful brunch with the family and dog. Kids loved the pancakes and cinnamon bun. My husband had the BLT I had the Ruben and it was so good and I ate it so fast there is no photographic evidence of it. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Made sure our pup had water and even took a picture of us.
This place is creative & sooooo delicious! I am not a fake-meat vegan but their hemp sausage sandwich was soo good. I wish I could go back but they closed at 3pm - thanks again y’all and def don’t miss this spot if your around the CHS area!
Stopped here by chance and ordered to go. We had the veggie burger and the pad thai salad and the fries. Everything was delicious. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a stop. Small restaurant with inside tables.
Popped by here for breakfast while I was on a short trip. The bagel sandwich was very delicious. The matcha latte was very rich and flavorful. The place is also very cute too. Would come again if I have the chance!
Loved our Tempeh Reuben (beautifully smoky tempeh!) and Fried Seitan Sandwich. Ordered inside and ate outside at a socially distanced table (the Cafe is a nicely designed space situated on a corner with indoor seating and cafe tables wrapping around the exterior). Super friendly waitstaff. So much more on the menu that we're excited to try on our next trip to Charleston!
The ambiance and attention to quality food is incredible. We had the taco salad and breakfast burrito- plant based everything and wonderful blends of spices. I will definitely be returning!

This cute little cafe was located close to our hotel. The food was delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful. I got the breakfast burrito with portobello mushrooms. Best breakfast burrito ever! I’d highly recommend checking It out when in Charleston, SC
I can’t get enough of this place! I have had the taco salad (good run of the mill dish), the tofu scramble, hemp sausage patty (both out of this world good), and the reuben (not my favorite but the flavors were good), and the breakfast burrito which is my absolute favorite. It is difficult to find parking but it can be done with a bit of luck and patience. If you don’t order a cup of the soup of the day, you are missing out on what is always a fantastic soup- I have had it every time I order, regardless of what it is, and it is always so so so good. A must-visit for any veg-curious or even health-conscious individual.
The food is very tasty and it is good to see that the Cafe us trying to be 'eco-friendly' with its packaging & utensils. Consider sourcing 'bamboo' cutlery (rather than pseudo plastic) and the 'metallic' casing on the muffins needs to be changed. Really great place though.
We were visiting in the area and looking for creative “non-meat” options… this place popped up right around the corner from our Airbnb. INCREDIBLE!! We tried the “yogurt” parfait and hemp seed “sausage” biscuit… yummy!!
Food was amazing! Came here for breakfast and everything was great .. except for the cinnamon roll which was ... Salty?? Like a pretzel? That had to have been a mistake because everything else was so good. The cinnamon roll texture and flavor (if you could ignore the salt) was great, but unfortunately the saltines made it inedible, which was such a bummer.
