Everything was amazing! We felt so taken care of and was overall satisfied with our meal and service! The only issue we had was the temperature- I believe that air flow was different for us bc we were in an enclosed booth- but both my husband and I were visibly sweating when we left the restaurant. When we got up to leave and use the restroom it didn't feel nearly as hot- so I do believe it was airflow in the enclosed booth. We did have coffee with dessert bc it is a tradition for us- but though it didn't help matters- we were both hot prior to that. Just felt like the temp was worth mentioning! Overall- it was one of our top 5 experiences! We will be back!

Where to begin. They require you provide your credit card AGAIN through their own email to hold the reservation... after having done so on Opentable. The AC vents drip from ceiling hopefully onto your table and not your food. The Green Apple Martini... without the Apple slice which when asked was "you didn't want that Apple slice" Arrived for 730 reservation left (no dessert) at 1000. The food was perfectly mediocre. Of our group of 7, there was not a dish or drink that I would suggest going here to have. The server was polite. This was for sure in my top 3 foodie disappointments, possibly #1.

Excellent food and service! Beautiful restaurant. We had a nice private table. Nitro drinks were fun! Only reason not 5 stars was due to one of our meals where the chicken breast was not cooked thoroughly. However they brought another one and took off the bill.

Delicious food and drinks. We ended up going two nights in a row. Clark at the bar truly made the experience for us. He was so fun and funny, gave great recommendations, and was so appreciative of us coming in.

Disappointing experience. Food, with exception of steak and potatoes, was mediocre. The restaurant had only 2 other parties in it at 7 pm. Service was very good, but the escargots, fish, and scallops, salad did not merit a return visit.

We eat a lot of steaks due to my husband doing the Carnivore diet. But I have to say my filet mignon was one of the best I have had in awhile. So tender and the seasoning was perfect. Ann our server was a top notch professional. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

The food and our server were excellent. As far as the “surcharge” for a martini ordered at the bar because the martini glass was 7oz is the first time we have ever encountered this and it is the most ridiculous thing we have ever seen. We live in NY, my husband is a martini drinker and we have frequented top restaurants in Manhattan,Long Island, as well as many other states and countries and found this too be a major turn off, and the rude bartender when questioned what the surcharge was for will definitely stop us from returning to Grill 225.

I just celebrated my 39th birthday at this establishment this past weekend and the experience was phenomenal! I highly recommend the 16 Oz. ribeye steak and steakhouse fries. Listen to me when I say the portion of fries will feed 4-5 people easily.

WOW. Disrespectful and embarrassing
Ok simply overcooked my strip np, although tried to pawn off a ribeye when they returned with my cut of meat. So wrong!!
The worst part most disrespectful was the server tried to justify the mistake in cuts of beats saying that the ribeye is similar to the strip. So Wrong!!
Yes, they paid for my steak and bought us a glass of wine for 2 on a 4 top. Wrong!
But twice trying to get over on me. With the wrong cut of meat.
Tried to speak with the food and beverage manager the next day, although I did not have time for meeting comp me a little credit to the bill via concierge. Wrong!!

My daughter and here best friend had dinner. I personally made the reservations for her since it was a present for graduating from College. I instructed the restaurant that it was a special dinner and asked that give her a something nice for desert. I received a phone call from the restaurant at 2:00 pm the day of her dinner. I asked if I could pay for her dinner with a credit card? The girl said yes I will send you a authorization for fill it out and send back and we will take care of it. I received the email filled out and sent back. My daughter said the waiter who's name was John was very nice until after they placed there order. Once they got there appetizers he did not come back and check on them for over 20 minutes. He passed there table several times and never thought about stopping. Once they finally received there meal no one checked on them to make sure everything was okay. When they finally brought the bill my daughters explained that I made arrangements to pay for the meal. The server John looked very upset with her request. They finally had the manager come over and he was very rude with my daughter and told her they didn't know anything about the request and that she needed to pay her bill. She paid it and left. I have attempted to talk with manager on twice with no response. I chose this restaurant because my wife and I had such a wonderful meal her back in September. I could have picked any restaurant in Charleston but I chose Grill 225. I will NEVER recommend or go back. Duane

We came for our anniversary and was disappointed. The service was great but food not so much. Shrimp cocktail average we had better in Florida. Creamed spinach ate 2 bites. Steak was tender but lacked flavor. Peach cobbler don’t waste the money.
