I recently discovered Grounded Coffee and it quickly became my favorite coffee place to work! I love the honey lavender latte and the barista, Lee, has a contagious upbeat personality. She recommended the golden turmeric latte which is unique and refreshing! There is plenty of room to work and the WiFi is reliable, which is a huge plus!

This is a cute little place with a nice sitting area and cafe. The drinks were good and they had some pastries. There is a nice lounge area which you can stay in after they close because it shares a building with the vape shop. 4 stars due to the vape shop, since I'm a non smoker, however it didn't affect the overall experience at all.

My barista was Lee and she was very helpful! I didn’t know what I was in the mood for and she helped me pick a drink and it was fantastic. They have a cool lounge spot behind the counter with dim lighting that I sat in. The other side had a vape shop which I do smoke so I didn’t mind but definitely something to know before going. All in all 10/10 experience and would recommend to anyone!

I have always loved the vibe of this place, and recently that new barista Lee has made it even more fun and welcoming, along with Cat on the vape side. Everyone is super nice. Lee also makes the best drinks and drink recommendations! I’m obsessed with her dirty chai lattes and americanos. This is definitely my favorite WFH spot and with the added touch of warmth from the barista and her espresso skills, coming here always makes my day brighter!

Lee was amazing ! I went in ready to try whatever the baristas recommendation was based off of what I wanted. I asked for high energy, and a non dairy milk. She recommended a turmeric honey latte with an extra shot and I loved it ! 5 stars for Lee and her amazing customer service ??

On Monday, June 10, 2024, at approximately 1142 hours, I, Dante G., responded to the Grounded Coffee Lounge located at 1757 Savannah Highway Unit A, which is in the jurisdiction of the city of Charleston,county of Charleston, and state of South Carolina I. Reference to a trafficking investigation. I discovered this while investigating Interstate 95 trafficking operation.
I entered the outward opening door located on the B Side of the business. The cafe is to the left and a vape shop to the right. I approached the point of sale and started reviewing the posted menu.
It is definitely a Trimethylxanthine distribution location.
I was greeted by a positive personality individual. I ordered an extra large Golden Milk Latte, iced. After discussing milk preference, I took a look around the coffee lounge.
The lounge is located past the coffee counter, up a single step. There are two four tops along the right wall, as well as an ABC fire extinguisher. That wall leads to an inward opening exit door. The rear wall has a few book shelves with a nice selection. To the left is a sofa, blue in color. The left wall has two golden chairs and a small table. Baking to the coffee counter is a floor sofa. There is an open space in the middle, approximately 15 feet square. There are overhead lights, but they were off, which made for a perfect lounge feel.
The music choice seemed to be the best of the 70's, 80's, and 90's.
The Golden Milk Latte was not too strong on any one flavor.
It is definitely worth continued investigation.

Edit for the owner: cute space, the person working was nice, but the food/drink my wife got was not good. My plain iced coffee was good. My wife got some flavored coffee as an iced coffee and the flavor powder that was added wasn't really mixed in. About half was clumped up on the bottom so she kept getting little balls of powder that were wet on the outside and dry inside in her straw. She also got a breakfast croissant/sandwich (don't remember which), but it was almost frozen inside. I'm assuming it was premade and frozen and then heated up but it wasn't really heated right, so it was hot on the outside and very cold on the inside.
