One word for this restaurant's cuisine "DELICIOUS" and the customer service was "AMAZING". First time visiting Charleston, SC. I had the Bison, Sauteed Spinach w/ garlic and Mashed Potatoes. 😋 Recommended by my hotel, The Dewberry Charleston.

Wonderful atmosphere, amazing service, and incredible food. We were there Tuesday and celebrated our daughter’s 11th birthday. During dinner, she commented “this is the best food I’ve ever eaten.” She also said, “I bet this is what people eat in heaven.” Our whole family was more than pleased with our dining experience.

I've wanted to try Halls for quite a while. My friend came into town, so I suggested we make reservations. They sat us upstairs in the corner of a freezing cold, really dark room. The food was disappointing - duck had super sweet sauce and was too salty. Risotto wasn't good. We had a very loud tattooed waitress. Even the "jazz" trio was dressed too casually for such a place. I'd just eaten at Keens in NYC, and I guess I expected that level of food/service.

We had an amazing experience! We visited from Nebraska, the home of amazing steaks. We were blown away by the quality of the meat & top notch service. They were even able to accommodate our request for plain corn off menu.The 434 is an extraordinary cocktail. They went above & beyond to recognize my Birthday even though I was trying g to keep it low key! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a top notch dining experience. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Charleston.

My family and I love Charleston and visit at least twice during summer. Each time we come to Halls Chophouse is a must. The staff is so lovely and the food is divine. Mr. Hall is amazing and always finds time to greet us and show our young son love. We will forever visit this location when here. Hall’s never disappoints. In a world of pretentious, overpriced restaurants with annoying purple haired servers and mediocre food, halls stands as one of the last places where, despite high prices, the value for the experience is still there. Great service, great atmosphere and consistently incredible food.

Above and beyond! The best steakhouse we’ve been to hands down. Bison filet is to die for! Our server went above and beyond and brought our baby a sippy cup as well as baby plate with strawberries and bananas. Such an incredible gesture! We can’t wait to visit again.
We were at Halls Chop House on April 12th for our 50th Anniversary. We have been to a lot of great restaurants in our time together but none compare to Halls! The level of kindness and service is unmatched. Our meal was outstanding! Brooke, our server was an absolute delight!
