Some days you just have to have a Hambys chicken salad mini sandwich. It’s funny how those days nothing else will do. I love them and the little “swords” with a mini tomato, mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinegar glaze. Invite friends over and you have the makings for a cocktail hour. Thank you Hambys.

We recently had Hamby Catering for our daughter's wedding.The food and service was excellent and we highly recommend them.

Everyone loved the beef stroganoff. Feedback on the chicken tetrazzini was not good. Great overall service from Hambys. Will definitely use them again but won’t buy the chicken tetrazzini again.

I was fortunate to be asked to throw my Daughter In Laws baby shower. I live in Charleston, SC and she lives in NC. I immediately knew it would be Hambys Famous Pimiento Cheese, and Chicken Salad Sandwiches that would be served and the list of great food just went on from there. We picked it up on Friday morning drove to NC and had the shower on Saturday. Everything was a huge hit because many of the shower attendees were big fans of Hambys. We heard stories of weddings and special events that Hamby's had catered for all of them over the last 40 years. It was amazing to hear all of the stories and most of them no longer live in Charleston but they all fondly remember Hamby's and were thrilled to death to be tasting so many of the famous foods from the past, bringing back very special memories.

We hosted a company picnic at the Citadel Beach Club and Hamby Catering was there to help every step of the way. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. We really loved the food and everyone was so excited we were able to keep the leftovers! We did not have to worry anything due to advance planning, setup was a breeze and the layout was perfect for our event. We would definitely use them again for future events!!!

Hamby’s was amazing!! We had them cater for our wedding at the SC Aquarium. With a tight schedule and lots going on, they made the process so seamless. Caroline was always so responsive and the food was incredible!! We will be recommending them to everyone!!

The Hamby Catering team is amazing, their team is client focused and ready to handle any challenge or venue set-up. Their food is fresh and delicious, you can taste the quality of their product. I absolutely loved working with Caroline, Brooke & Team for my wedding this past spring and look forward for working with them for future events.

We hosted an intimate, high level, corporate executive group at the Thomas Bennett House recently and Hamby was our catering partner. In the planning process they were friendly, creative, responsive and aligned perfectly with our expectation and vision for our clients.

On site they were timely, friendly, professional. Staff were attentive, well dressed and didn't skip a beat on service. The fried chicken biscuit was the talk of the event with guests asking for leftovers and the recipe. I would gladly work with Hamby Catering in the future and highly recommend them as your event caterer!

We chose Hamby Catering for our June 2024 Isle of Palms wedding, and couldn't be more grateful that we did! The team at Hamby was professional and responsive. They did an excellent job of attending to dietary needs. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. We opted for the stations, and had a low country BBQ, shrimp & grits, & bruschetta chicken station. Each one was absolutely to die for. Our guests are still talking about it to this day. The staff was so kind and helpful the day of. We can't recommend Hamby enough! :)

I recently attended a party that was catered by Hamby Catering and I felt I needed to compliment the team.
The menu was heavy hors D’oeuveres (might have been the Heritage Package ++) and was every bit as delicious as was beautifully presented.
The team in hand was present but not intrusive, answered any questions and offered polite suggestions (get the dill dip). Their break down was fast and efficient and in no way interrupted the 70’s disco that was happening around them.
As an out of town guest, I was pleased for the hostess- her catering choice was spot on.
(Tryin desperately to figure out the ham sandwich squares- was that a sweet cornbread?)

Hamby Catering did such an amazing job at our wedding at Boone Hall on 6/1/2024. Bellamy was so very helpful throughout the planning process and the day of. The food tasted amazing (the crab cakes were a big hit!) and the bar service was so sweet and amazing as well. I highly recommend Hamby for your wedding! :)

Our biggest thing for our wedding reception was for the food to be wonderful and the also the drinks. Hamby's food was hands down the best food I've ever had at a wedding (we've been to 12 weddings in the last year) and their servers and bartenders were wonderful as well. Our guests still can't stop talking about how wonderful the food was! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for catering in the future! Bellamy was a pleasure to work with also!

Hamby handled our daughter's wedding perfectly. Bellamy was great to work with, listening to our specific requests and following through with enthusiasm and professionalism. The food and service could not have been better. So many compliments! Thank you for delivering a true southern wedding!
