Great place to dine with a large or small group. Delicious food with great service. We had a group of 34 and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended!!
Food was dry and was very forgetful. BE AWARE THAT A 23.5% GRATUITY IS ADDED TO YOUR TICKET & THEY LEAVE A PLACE FOR AN ADDITIONAL TIP! � Total rippoff!
I’m writing my review with the understanding that most partake in the Harborview restaurant for its view of the Ashley river and charleston skyline. Let me advise you that the restaurant is far from palatial, somewhat rundown, and in desperate need of remodeling. Moreover, the historic view does not compensate for the rude and unprofessional service. In particular, Angela, an on-staff waitress assigned to me, was extraordinarily unsuitable and rude. Harborview Restaurant & Lounge offers a mixed dining experience with a great view of the harbor from the large window. The food, especially breakfast, is similar to a hotel breakfast, with the brunch buffet being decent and nothing special, but worth your money. They also have an a la carte menu. The food is delicious and prepared exactly to order. The staff members receive high praise for their excellent service; servers do their best to accommodate you, even when short staffed. The attentive waitstaff quickly address any issues. The restaurant provides a lovely view of the harbor, making it a worthwhile spot for a meal or drinks.
