First of all, the menu clearly says all entrees include two sides, the waitress had to study the menu for 2 minutes to understand that, and still charged us 6.00 for a side of fries. The fish was horrible. The waitress seemed complete clueless about everything. The view is the only good thing about this "restaurant " definitely not worth we paid for this food.

Josephine did an amazing job taking care of us. Her attitude was wonderful. She had a lot of customers and kept a positive attitude while offering help to the other staff members. Very impressed with her service. Great place

Great staff, friendly, courteous, and polite.Food is meh... Atmosphere is 1970s reminiscent including the ambient smell. The floors leading out were very damp due to the humidity which I imagine may lead to mold accumulation of some sort.Vegetarian options: They are not explicit in calling out vegetarian however if you are a good vegetarian you know you are limited in options up front lol.Parking: Plenty of spots - nothing on a slope - easy to navigate.Kid-friendliness: The kids can run around in limited areas. It's fairly safe as it's not large enough for them to get lost.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a 2 ramps leading up the front gate.

This was my first time trying out the Harbor view restaurant inside of Holiday inn on Savannah hwy. My mother-in-law's boyfriend suggested that we go there for her birthday. He went on a previous occasion and spoke about the views and the food. So he surprised her for her birthday. My boyfriend and I arrived early to get a table and get a drink from the bar while we waited. They sat us at a table, we had plenty of options because no one was there yet. The manger fixed my drink which was good and there were two other servers waiting on people. It started off nice and everyone seemed friendly, but it went south real fast. My boyfriend went to the car to check on the eta of our birthday girl and I went to the ladies room and left a half of drink sitting on the table. When I came back my drink was poured out by the server and a group was sitting at our table, when I informed the server she made me another drink, but then asked if I was with the group. I said no, but that was our table. She just made my drink and I found another table. I asked for menus and she gave me two paper menus and I asked for one for each guest. The menu was not consistent with the online website menu, I wanted scallops, but they offered more bar food, nothing exciting. The birthday girl arrived and we noticed the dining room was getting full. Our table was skipped over several times and the servers waited on every table that didn't have the same skin color as us. We waited and waited and waited. We spoke to the manager and he informed us that they don't speak English, but when I spoke to her earlier her English was fine to me. The table behind us tried to go to bat for all the tables with different skin colors because him and his wife received their food expeditiously! The 2 couples with the same color of skin as ours walked out after waiting for an hour and being past over. It took us two hours to receive two meals and then the rest of the order came out an additional 30 minutes. The service was so bad ...oh yeah the manager waited on us and took care of us in the end. He apologized and said that he has a lot of work to do. I guess we should have gone to downtown Charleston to eat. The birthday girl didn't mention anything about having fun. I was so embarrassed! We were let down!

The food was good, but that is not why I'm leaving a 5 star review. Me and my gf had a waiter tonight named Tyler. We can't stop talking about how much he made the whole experience. He was just flat out a very genuine guy. I really hope management takes care of this guy because any restaurant in cahrleston would be lucky to have him. If you get a chance to go definitely ask for Tyler. And the VIEW is the best in charleston hands down. The food was good but is not the reason we will be going back again, its because of the waiter and the view. Really good for a laid back date. If you're reading this Tyler, keep that energy with everyone bud, more people like you deserve the recognition??

Unbeatable view of Charleston in a local classic. Such a fun experience to watch the world go by as you eat above the harbor. Beautiful. Tyler was excellent. We had tequila soda and rosé, the sirloin salad with dressing on side and build-your-own burger with all the fixin's and fries. Food was fast to come out to table and hot. Highly recommend!

My family needed a place to get together for dinner. There were 34 of us. I called and spoke with Justin who put me in touch with Bekah. She set everything up over the phone and through texts. It was so simple. I was amazed how smoothly things went. We had two servers who handled our group with ease. Jo was our waitress and did a great job. Food items ordered ranged from salads, to hamburgers, to entrees. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I am a longtime customer of the restaurant and can say that the food has greatly improved since the new owners bought the Holiday Inn in June. I would recommend the Harborview Restaurant to anyone. Along with a great staff and good food, it has the best view in Charleston and is a great place to dine out for a small or very large group. Thanks for a most enjoyable evening.
