Great experience! Local brews and delicious food. I thought I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich but got the fried chicken sandwich. Glad I did - so many flavors! It has blackberry BBQ sauce, spring onions, and cabbage slaw. I want to go back to try other things on the menu but it will be hard not to order that again.TIP: Get there early - it fills up.

A true hidden treasure in the Charleston neighborhood. The food is high quality and very tasty. The drinks are well-made with a good amount of alcohol. The service is great, and the bartenders are friendly. The place is always changing its aesthetic with holiday decorations and different lighting so there's always something new to see. Whether you're local or just visiting, you should definitely give Harold's Cabin a try.Parking: Park on the street.
This place is so cute and warm-feeling. We went for the holiday drinks menu and decorations and the drinks were inventive and delicious! The vibe of this place was amazing, I will definitely come back when I have more time to stay and have a meal!

Unique find, reminded me of some of the homes turned restaurant in Portland and was very trendy. The bar tender was probably the nicest person I ever met, very attentive and when I returned for more drinks he had many patrons, yet asked quickly if I wanted the same drinks. Quickly got me moving while making the other customers drinks. The food was great, burgers and kids meals. The kids PBJ was the best my boys have ever had. Very happy we stopped in, learned another conformable place for us to stop at. Cheers to Harold’s Cabin

It's hard to review Harold's Cabin. What makes it hard? I have been there many times and have watched people eat but have never eaten there. I have had drinks and played with their record player and looked through the collection of "cubby holes" situated throughout the first floor. I have hung out on the little deck and talked to the friendly bartenders. I suppose I really like the place but I can't say I understand it. Maybe that is the point.
The food was pretty amazing. I had shrimp and okra and the beet appetizer, both were awesome. The salted raccoon was pretty tasty also. We will be back soon!

Very disappointed. New to the area, now live .4 miles away from Harold’s Cabin. Last night we ordered an appetizer ( very tasty Crab Dip), a beer, a Salty Raccoon (also great), a burger and a chicken sandwich. Drinks and appetizer arrived quickly. Waited 30-40 minutes for the sandwiches. When I finally checked on them myself I was told the order was never placed for them. No apology, no attempt to make it right. When I told the person to ‘never mind’ , he simply presented me the bill for the food received . No remorse no attempt to get me to stay, when he was clearly the one who screwed up. We left very disappointed and very hungry. Obviously they are so busy that losing a locals’ repeat business is no big deal.

Stopped in for drinks after spending the day downtown. Very disappointed in the lack of service. No wait service at all, although other patrons appeared to have servers. Then we had to stand in line and order at the bar. Once our drinks were prepared, the bartender just placed them on the bar and completely ignored us. We had to ask if those drinks were ours, and he appeared to be annoyed that he had to acknowledge our presence by saying "yeah." Oh, and the drinks were terrible too. Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else.
