Food was good but the place was hot.

Do yourself a favor and book Lexie and her team! They catered our wedding 10.17.2019 and everything was phenomenal. Each piece of food is thoughtfully created and the flavor is out of this world! You cannot go wrong with these folks. They are patient, kind and humble. They bend over backwards to ensure that your wedding day is everything you want and more. Once my photographer sends photos I will post for proof :) (P.S. get the Okra Beignets)

Ann and I were married at The Charleston Library Society on Saturday, September 7, 2019. The evening before, we had a rehearsal dinner party for out-of-town guests in the Club Room of the Dockside Apartments where I - and now we - live. Both events were catered to well deserved rave reviews from all of our guests for Harvest Catering under the "golden touch" of Lexie Webb.First the Food:The menu for the buffet style rehearsal dinner overlooking Charleston Harbor was: Fried Green Tomato & Pimento Cheese; Lowcountry Shrimp Roll; Crispy Tabasco Fried Chicken; Pulled Pork Sliders; Coined Fingerling Potato Salad; Charred Corn & Watermelon Salad with Feta; and Peach Cobbler with freshly Whipped Cream for dessert. Dockside security guards happily consumed what little was left at the end of the party.A different approach was taken at the wedding and jubilant reception. Guests arrived at 5 pm and were immediately provided cocktails, wines, and soft drinks while being treated to passed appetizers that were quickly devoured: Duck and Blue Cheese Wontons; Mini Tomato Pies; and Applewood Bacon Wrapped Scallops. After the 6 pm ceremony the food stations opened to offer: Chicken Piccata with capers, white wine and shallot, whipped potatoes and shaved asparagus; Standing Rib Roast with horseradish sauce, rolls, chopped salad with blue cheese and candied pecans; and Shrimp Succotash with corn, butterbean, field peas, tomato and creamy stone ground grits. The universal comment by the guests: Never let Harvest leave the catering business!Second, the Service:The chefs, servers, and bartenders could not have been more personable while at the same time being incomparably efficient. Guests were moving about with their food and drinks, leaving empty plates, forks, and glasses as they went from station to station. The soiled stuff never sat long; places opened up for others almost instantly.Third: the Cleanup:It is a fact that at the end of each evening Harvest Catering left the venue at least as clean and orderly as when they first arrived. The principals of Dockside and The Library Society were understandably ecstatic. When Ann and I think about the strain put on everyone by the hurricane, we are absolutely amazed that both proceedings came off without a hitch. (Well, there was one hitch, of course). Excellent exquisite food was key to the success of both events. Throughout the storm Harvest Catering assured us that all would be well. That happened and we plan to use for another event before 2019 is out!Eric

Well Harvest Catering you’ve out done yourselves! I attended a wedding last night and your food was AMAZBALLS!!! I’m sad I can’t have a do-over! So yummy, crab cakes, my strip cooked in a cauldron (#badass), tuna poke, oysters, and there was more!! The food was perfection and as a guest at this wedding it was a true treat. I felt like i was in a five star restaurant. Thank you and thank you for making a dear friends wedding first class.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Steinberg Law Firm has booked Harvest Catering for our company events for a little over a year now, and we are so excited when we see the crew every time. Because we know we're going to receive exceptional services, a friendly crew, and delicious food. They just wrapped up our Christmas party and it was one of the best menus we've ever had. Can't wait to see ya'll again!
