¡Charleston's Best!
Dined here back in 2019, but form wouldn't let me select that. It is has since closed (as a result of Covid? I'm unsure.), but so hope it reopens in the future. Lovely upscale dining spot with an old school feel. Fantastic design. Delicious food.
Definitely exercise caution walking around that area of Charleston. I’d avoid Marion Square day or night. Lots of crime that isn’t publicized because the City doesn’t want to hurt tourism.
I had a great dinner @ Henrietta’s. The French onion soup was both tasty and surprisingly hearty. The toasted Gruèyere made it extra special likened to a gourmet "biscuit and gravy." The coq au vin was equally filling and delicious. Everything was lovely and my husband and I had a great date night! We will return.
They did a tremendous job with "course timing" as we were headed to the Symphony right after an early dinner. I opted for the restaurant week Prix fix menu, and the choices were great. We'll definitely be back to try this again.
Our waiter was the most charming thing ever. Our eggs benedict was delightful. The only issue was that they didn't serve alcohol before 10 a.m.and we were in there at 8 a.m. looking for a bloody Mary. Oh well still enjoyed to the fullest!!!!
french food at this spot - yummy. The staff was very welcoming and observant. The place has an awesome feel to it. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.
One of my favorite spots for French food. i was so stuffed. the staff was very helpful and observant.
I recently stayed at the Dewberry and took advantage of this to have brunch at the Henriettas. The service was great and the food was good but not great. For example, I had the short rib hash which was good and hearty but I had a hard time finding any short rib in the dish. Not sure that I would eat here if not in the hotel.
You would think . . . that a restaurant in such an upscale hotel would be so much better. It is not!!! we went to Henrietta's for breakfast - it was terrible. Service was terrible. Food was way over cooked. We had room service. The same - terrible. And we went for dinner - again - not even close to expectations for such a nice hotel. Go across the square and eat at the hotel Bennett. Just sayin.

I went for restaurant week and maybe that was my problem because the food came out cold and felt like it had been preprepped waiting to be served to the next person who walked in the door instead of being prepared when ordered. My boyfriend's food, however, which were not restaurant week items, came out hot and delicious. Our drink order wasn't taken accurately but the server was prompt in fixing the issue. The food itself flavor wise was fantastic, I just would have liked for my food to have been hot when served.
Old school with such history. Completely restored hotel with an amazing bar/restaurant that has craft cocktails with an old school vibe of white coats and stirrers. This is where you go dressed up to grab a few libations before dinner on the town!
Salmon was not great. It wasn't horrible but I've had much better. The vegetable presentation was messy and was not tasty.
Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic cuisine, best place we've found since moving from the D.C. Metro area, Lauren gave amazing Service.
