I came here in February for my birthday. I had been to Charleston before but this was the first time I brought my husband. I cannot explain to you how incredible of an experience this place. We were absolutely in awe of this restaurant. I have been to many restaurants, some with Michelin stars and this place blew me out of the water. We constantly bring up how enjoyable it was and it is 1000000% worth the price. We are planning on returning to Charleston for my birthday next year to keep the tradition going. Thank you everyone here for such a beautiful time!

EXCELLENCE SHOULD ALWAYS BE REWARDED! I can't believe I didn't write this back in January. I did a lot of research on restaurants in Charleston prior to our trip for my birthday dinner. This restaurant isn't the easiest to find online and we almost opted for one of the more well known, popular establishments.
Once I found out about Honeysuckle Rose, there was something that resonated and it didn't let me or my wife, 3 brothers and 2 spouses down.
Everything that came out of the kitchen was prepared in a way that was creative, and with full balanced flavors that highlighted the main component of the dish. There was even one item that neither my wife or I like, having tried it many different ways, and they made it absolutely craveable.
The wine pairings were excellent, all elected to compliment and enhance the dishes.
The room was cozy with fun art and music that helps tell the story of the hosts. That is a story of fun, passion, food and drink that comes together in a dinner party like no other.
We will go back to Charleston, and we will try other great restaurants there, but we WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK TO HONEYSUCKLE ROSE.

I had a splendid time at Honeysuckle Rose last night! It was such a unique experience with the 8 course tasting, the food was delicious and very good quality, loved the different combinations of ingredients, and the service of everyone there was hospitable & friendly. Loved the coziness of the small dining room. Highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere was amazing! I’ve never experienced anything like this, so this truly impressed me. I honestly didn’t know what I was walking in to, but the staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Every detail has been crafted to literally PERFECTION. I will definitely be recommending all of my friends and family here. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much!!

I have not even eaten at this restaurant yet, but their service as it relates to trying to reschedule a reservation is terrible. I have tried to email them and call them several times over the better part of a week, with no response. I can only hope that their food is better than their responsiveness.

Our second time enjoying the food and service at Honeysuckle Rose.

A Prix Fixe menu paired with either alcoholics or non-alcoholic drinks.

This is the type of place where you dress up and celebrate a special occasion.

River and Sky are a pair of geniuses in the kitchen and their meal will leave you full but wanting more. I can't say enough about the team and I look forward my next food adventure from these two.

Honeysuckle Rose was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness from every single staff member. The service was beyond anything we could have imagined — so attentive, so friendly, and it felt like they genuinely cared about making the night special for us.

And the food… there are hardly words big enough. Every bite was phenomenal — rich, flavorful, and so thoughtfully prepared. It wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience, the kind of meal you can’t stop talking about long after it’s over.

What made it even more meaningful was that we came just after our wedding, and Honeysuckle Rose gifted us something we’ll carry with us forever — not just an incredible dinner, but a beautiful memory to start this new chapter of our lives together.

Thank you to the entire team at Honeysuckle Rose for giving us such a wonderful night. It’s something me and Blane will never forget. - Izzy and Blane

One of the best dining experiences in Charleston!

We arrived a few minutes before 6:45 and they promptly opened the doors at 6:45 and seated us. Waters were filled, we settled in and service began.

The attention to detail in the food and service was excellent.

The food was outstanding! Everything was great but I think my favorites were the oyster, wreckfish, and duck. I think the duck had the pink pasta with it, I could have eaten a whole bowl of the pasta.

Dessert was some sort of banana thing and I'll be honest, I don't like bananas but whatever they did, I liked it.

Great pairing of the wine with the food as well!

I will say it was a little hot in there at times but I'm going blame that on the extreme heat we had.

If you're on the fence about going, just go. It's well worth the money and you won't be disappointed.

If I could give this experience 10 stars I would. I wanted to treat myself to a nice dining experience for my 33rd birthday and I’m SO glad I decided to come here. The last tasting menu experience I had was at a 1 Michelin star in Italy so I tried not to keep my hopes too high but I was excited.

Before you show up, you get several texts and then a phone call to ask if you prefer still or sparkling water which I’ve never been asked prior.

I was greeted by a lovely hostess at the front door to check in and get walked to my seat at the chef’s counter. I was sitting in between 2 people and to my surprise the lady next to me was the owner’s sister.
The place is so cute, low lighting and the decor was chic and sexy. The bathrooms are some of the coolest and nicest I’ve ever been in. 🥰🤭 (make sure you try both 😜)

There’s a card with my name on it and inside you find the menu which I thought was super personable and cute. Before they started service, the owners Kelleanne and Ryan came out with their team and just shared some words and then the Sommelier poured our first glass of champagne 🍾 🥂

Each chef took turns before each course talking about the dish and the intention behind it as well as the somm for each wine poured.

I cannot begin to describe how intuitive the service was, seamless and utter perfection. The attention to detail was impressive. In between courses you see the ENTIRE team working together in the back - polishing glassware and silverware, garnishing, dropping off dishes and all working together. Getting to see the owners assist in all of that was humbling to see that they were not above doing the tedious work and that they lead by example.

Each course was perfect and paired with delicious selections of wine. I didn’t think I would get full from this dinner because they were small tasting portions but man by course 6 I was getting close. First of all, I’ve never had a popover and holy cow it was delicious! She even packed a handful for me Togo as an extra bday touch! So thoughtful!
The BEST thing ever was the slices of buttery, melt in your mouth first time ever served there - Japanese A5 Wagyu. 🤤

At the end they brought out these mini cupcakes with candles for all the guests celebrating all things including me. They really know how to make you feel special. 🥹 We also all got to leave with their special chocolate covered Oreos made by grandma which was a nice touch.

They really know how to create a memorable experience and they made you feel like family. A plus was the bomb playlist that Kelleanne played during dinner. I thorough enjoyed myself and this in fact took first over my Michelin experience in Italy. I loved every aspect of it and it’s totally worth every penny! I will be back with hubby! Thank you to the entire team! 🥰🙏🏾
