Wife and I were both very upset. No offer from the restaurant to atone for this mistake beyond refunding and $500 I already paid and finding a reservation on another night.

I came here in February for my birthday. I had been to Charleston before but this was the first time I brought my husband. I cannot explain to you how incredible of an experience this place. We were absolutely in awe of this restaurant. I have been to many restaurants, some with Michelin stars and this place blew me out of the water. We constantly bring up how enjoyable it was and it is 1000000% worth the price. We are planning on returning to Charleston for my birthday next year to keep the tradition going. EXCELLENCE SHOULD ALWAYS BE REWARDED! I can't believe I didn't write this back in January. I did a lot of research on restaurants in Charleston prior to our trip for my birthday dinner. This restaurant isn't the easiest to find online and we almost opted for one of the more well known, popular establishments. Once I found out about Honeysuckle Rose, there was something that resonated and it didn't let me or my wife, 3 brothers and 2 spouses down. Everything that came out of the kitchen was prepared in a way that was creative, and with full balanced flavors that highlighted the main component of the dish. There was even one item that neither my wife or I like, having tried it many different ways, and they made it absolutely craveable. The wine pairings were excellent, all elected to compliment and enhance the dishes. The room was cozy with fun art and music that helps tell the story of the hosts. That is a story of fun, passion, food and drink that comes together in a dinner party like no other. We will go back to Charleston, and we will try other great restaurants there, but we WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK TO HONEYSUCKLE ROSE.

If you have food allergies, come to Honeysuckle Rose! I have Celiacs Disease and 8 major protein allergies. Honeysuckle Rose was more than accommodating to my dietary restrictions. The food was amazing, the staff was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was unique, intimate, and comfortable. Our tasting experience was the highlight of our weekend in Charleston. The food is amazing and the service is excellent. The noise in the restaurant was too much for me to hear my husband speak which reduced the quality of the experience. The music was too loud and the music played was a weird vibe for a restaurant like this. Playing love shock was not the vibe i was looking for at this price point.

I have tried to email them and call them several times over the better part of a week, with no response. I can only hope that their food is better than their responsiveness.

And the food… there are hardly words big enough. Every bite was phenomenal — rich, flavorful, and so thoughtfully prepared. It wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience, the kind of meal you can’t stop talking about long after it’s over.
What made it even more meaningful was that we came just after our wedding, and Honeysuckle Rose gifted us something we’ll carry with us forever — not just an incredible dinner, but a beautiful memory to start this new chapter of our lives together.
