Husk is a Charleston staple and always a must-visit for me. I especially love the bar area in the small house behind the main restaurant, it has such great character. The food is consistently excellent, and I can always find something on the menu that I’m excited to try.
Well, we booked a porch table which seemed like a great idea at the time but happened to come during monsoon season in Charleston. Didn’t get wet as plastic curtains were dropped down but it seemed like other diners might have cancelled or been moved inside and away from those. Apart from the weather, great! Maybe the best scallops ever, house oysters were delicious too.
Our group had been wanting to eat at Husk since we saw it and it's chef/owner highlighted on Netflix's Chef Table and we were not disappointed! With a table of six we were able to try many dishes and were amazed by the complexity of flavors. Order anything off the menu and you won't be disappointed, but do try the deviled eggs as they had run out by the time we were seated for brunch.
