I get it now..the bartenders assume that everyone is a tourist and treats them like they’re never coming back again (they couldn’t care less). I’ll remember that the next time I want to pop in for a drink. That said, Great cocktails, wine and seafood. Always mediocre service at the bar at best.

Everything was gorgeous - like walking in a picture. All dishes were cooked and plated perfectly. There were throwbacks to Southern foods in the sides. The collards were smoky but a tad too vinegary - however it was good quality vinegar so most of our party enjoyed it. The cornbread was authentic and served in a cast iron skillet. Hats off to the manager Alexandra! She was more than helpful with a very overserved crazy woman at the bar.
Alexandra handled everything in the most professional manner… and even after the pscyhozgrinac woman insulted her personally, Alexandra kept her head up high and remained confident and professional and handled the situation with class.
As a Charleston local, I will absolutely be returning to the husk bar.
