We went here for brunch and had a fantastic experience. The smoked salmon plate and the Surf & Turf eggs Benedict were both excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed brunch, and the live music made it even more special.

Great brunch options in a beautiful setting. We ordered the oatmeal (spice roasted pears, brown sugar, and coconut) and the French toast (brioche with carmelized bananas). The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived but was starting to pick up a bit by the time we left. Our server was very attentive and the food was fantastic. Our table never ran out of coffee or water and all the servers were friendly. This is definitely on my Chucktown brunch list from now on!

Nope. We had planned our family hoilday dinner to visit the new gardens and decided to try Iron Rose because its close proximity and good reviews. Unfortunately, it was not good. The vibe from the moment we walked up to hostess was off. We had reservations. The hostess acted as though we didnt and she was excited to send us away. Upon sitting the waiter arrived to tell us we could have tap water or order sparkling water. This felt like a gift. We have eaten in far nicer restaurants and more humble. This place is trying to be fine dining. The food dosent meet those standards. ....all the warm dishes were cold. All the cold dishes were weirdly lukewarm. The kettle chips are really just stale potato chips. The carrots were actually ok, but not really warm. The salad was soooooo wilted I decided not to eat it. I wouldnt eat that in my home, why would I travel downtown to eat lukewarm wilted spinach. So disappointed.

We visited for a late brunch the day after Christmas. The chicken and waffles were delicious and the jungle juice was perfection for those who prefer a citrus cocktail thats not too sweet. We sat at the bar and our bartender provided excellent customer service.
