Very nice breakfast and lunch place. Old style diner with booths and a long counter where you can watch the cooks work. Very reasonable prices. Eggs, Huge Pancakes, Waffles. If you like Southern-style biscuits and gravy they do it up right. You can even get it with fresh chicken on top. Friendly service, but very busy. The meats are very fresh - real country ham, sausage and bacon all delicious, The place for a great breakfast. Great prices too.
We LOVE Jacks!! Whenever we visit Charleston you can be sure to catch us walking the mile hike to get breakfast at Jacks! We tell all of our friends who are visiting Charleston to make sure to stop in for breakfast. Jacks is definitely one of those rare finds. Delish made to order food, friendly staff and great customer service.
centrally located for several decades. service always good as is the food. diner style with excellent prices. I'd read the paper there over breakfast circa 1984
Not for the vacationer for sure. More for the college crowd and cleanliness is definitely not there best attribute. If you feel daring go for it.
Great food, polite service, awesome prices!
Good old fashion diner food hits the spot every time, especially when its as delicious as this, great staff and food.
Good stuff. Food GR8. Excellent staff, competitive pricing. When I'm in that area rest assured this boy will patronize
This place right here is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥! The chicken biscuits and gravy was literally the best I have ever had in my entire life. I decided to add cheese to it and put it over the toppppp! Please do yourself a favor and come eat at this joint! My god it will not disappoint. I might even come back for lunch today. It's THAT good! This place slapsssss!!!
Perfect little retro gem with excellent options for everyone. The food was amazing.
Great little diner in Charleston. Mikayla was a wonderful and attentive server! Yummy western omelet, delicious stuffed French toast, etc. Great menu and fair prices!

Very good breakfast and friendly staff. A bargain as well. Gets very busy, but still fairly fast.
We all met up with family members for a typical Southern breakfast yesterday. There was non-stop coffee and a huge choice of breakfast food. I had French toast with blueberries and bacon and it was exactly the right amount. Others had huge helpings of chicken and waffles, pancakes (3 huge ones!) and the well-known Hangover Cure breakfast. This latter one was enough to sink a battleship. But the food we all had was great and tasty. The only negative was it took a long time for the food to come. But highly recommended!
We stopped by Jack's Diner for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. The food and service was spectacular!
