I LOVE JINYA RAMEN BAR! This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The food and the flavors are fantastic! All of the staff are so patient and kind with all their customers! I am so happy we have JINYA!
I am here in Charleston for a conference and happened upon this happy little spot. The for was Amazing. The kitchen staff was on point with thier communication...but what really made my night was my server Lotus, she was so knowledgeable and personable, that when she told me she had only been there for a week and a half I was floored. I'm not even her parent but that is the level of proud I was. She is impressive, and if I'm ever in town in definitely coming back.

Ordered through DoorDash and went to pickup. No reason why the food wasn’t ready by the time I arrived there all the way from Goose Creek, a 30 minute commute. Had to wait an extra 15 minutes and the lady still ended up chasing me down in the parking lot to bring an item they forgot. Thankfully she realized it before I left. Food wasn’t as good as the Atlanta locations, but I’ll give it another try soon because I do love Jinya.

JINYA Ramen Bar in Charleston is a must-visit for ramen lovers. Their Tonkotsu Black ramen is incredibly rich and flavorful, with tender pork chashu and a perfect balance of garlic and spice. The signature JINYA Bun is a delicious appetizer, featuring melt-in-your-mouth braised pork in a fluffy steamed bun. To finish, the mochi ice cream is the perfect sweet treat.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was our server, Jacob. He was beyond kind, making sure we had everything we needed while keeping such a warm and friendly attitude. He took the time to explain the menu, offer great recommendations, and made us feel so welcome. His attentiveness and genuine kindness made our meal even better. If you’re looking for amazing ramen and outstanding service, JINYA—and Jacob—are the best in town!

I lived in Japan for the first 19 years of my life, so I have a pretty good understanding of authentic Japanese ramen. I got the Original Tonkotsu and the broth is very close to what you would get at a good ramen shop in Japan, but it had way too much garlic. I was tasting and smelling it for days. I'll try a different item next time and hopefully won't run into the same issue, but other than that, it's the best ramen I've had in Charleston so far.

Music was playing too loud, especially given all the hard surfaces in the restaurant. But our server, Jacob, was kind enough to have the volume lowered. Jacob was very attentive and was knowledgeable of all food options. He performed very well as a representative of JINYA.

Last week I had an amazing experience at Jinya! The ramen was fresh and delicious, with a great variety to choose form. A little expensive, but reasonably priced for a restaurant downtown. A special shoutout to my server, Hollie- she was fantastic! Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, she made the meal even better. If you're in Charleston and craving Ramen, Jinya is a must-visit!

I tried to surprise my wife by taking her on a date to Jinya. I even called to try to book a reservation in advance, but no one answered. My wife and I were told it would take 30-45 mins. After 50 minutes we checked to see how much longer and continued to wait. My wife and I waited over a hour and 15 mins and were still not seated. My wife and I left disappointed.
