This place smacks harder than your grandma on Thanksgiving day, absolutely the best hibachi in Charleston hands-down....on my mama. Mu boy and I eat here at least once a week I'm telling you it's amazing!

Really good food, fast service, and decent prices. I'm going to come back when I can for their rice bowls.Parking: Can get pretty busy around lunch time as there are other restaurants in the same complex.
The absolute height of food in the area and the only Chinese worth getting in WA.It's small, unassuming, and discretly tucked into a strip mall, but it is absolutely worth your time.We had a bunch of sushi rolls, a teriyaki chicken, and a Mongolian beef bowl...multiple times...multiple days...in a row. Each time was perfect and felt better than the last! I loved it so much that I got some for a flight out of Charleston as my in-flight meal.All the food is served in to-go containers, but they could serve this masterpiece in a trash can, and it would still be great.Recommended highly!

Ordered on -line Total $59.07 for pick-up. When arrived at Kanji West Ashley was told order not received. Was told to try James Island. I knew it couldn't be there but did phone to check. Not there. Back to West Ashley , re-ordered, service polite , but by this time our dinner was an hour late. Will not try that again. Food OK but nothing exceptional.

I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered from this restaurant. I use yelp app to order the food. I thought I was ordering it from a different Asian restaurant on Savannah Highway. Once I figured it out it was too late because I had already ordered the food and paid for it. I went in to pick up the food and was greeted by the friendly employee very quickly. I picked up my order and took it home. The food is absolutely excellent as far as the restaurant so if it's not fancy in any way. But the excellence of the food outweighs the ordinary ambience of the restaurant. I will absolutely go back to this restaurant again and order food. Maybe I'll eat in next time. May I recommend the beef soba noodles!

Absolutely horrendous service from this location…I’ve been a long time fan of Kanji in Mt P but this location is by no means an exemplary extension of their brand name. Food never showed up, credit card was still charged, zero communication from restaurant.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat!! My favorite is the sushi! Best sushi in town!! The only thing that is a downside is that the hibachi rice is lacking in flavor and could use some improvement, but everything else is A+The restaurant is super clean and has a nice atmosphere. Nice quiet spot for lunch or dinner. The rewards program is a plus and is an incentive to keep going back.I'm also very glad that the super rude lady (young lady with glasses) isn't working there anymore! It had gotten to the point that we almost stopped ordering and going there. Thankfully, management recognized this, and now service is back to being great!
