We chose this restaurant because of its proximity to our hotel. There were only 23 reviews, on trip advisor, mostly positive but only one from 2023. Upon our arrival there were a few people at the bar and only one other couple dining. All of these indicators left me feeling uncertain but we decided to give it a try. Our meal was great! I enjoyed the birria tacos and my husband loved the hot buffalo wings. We ate outside- fairly rustic tables and benches and the music was kind of loud and annoying. Despite these demerits, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food.
This place is great! We went their to celebrate graduation! We went for drinks after dinner the bartenders were fantastic and very nice. We sat outside in the back patio area. It was a wonder evening and great vibe. My daughter in law left her phone there and we went back the next day and they had it. They were kind and understanding. Truly a great group of people who work there and really fun place to hang and drinks.
Terrible service and very expensive for quality
Great service and food. Live music was awesome. Will be back!
Homophobic staff. Not a safe or welcoming place for LGBTQIA. I do not recommend or support.
The shrimp tacos were amazing, lots of beer choices! Would highly recommend. This was the first place we came across when we arrived and it didn't disappoint.
If you're looking for a college atmosphere filled with boozed up teens/young adults, lots of loud cursing and drunk convo and expensive drinks, this is the place for you. Though this place his potential to be very good, the company it keeps just makes it not the mature people. The food was ok. However our server was very polite and gave great drink recommendations. If I'm bar hopping I might come back, otherwise....meh

Food was tasty and flavorful. Server was fantastic maneuvering through the Saturday night bar rush. Band was a pleasant surprise and very good. Fun night.
SUCH a treat to find this restaurant! Charming, wonderful food served in large portions, and staff so ready to make you comfortable! We'll go back again whenever we are in Charleston!

Great NYE date night. We always come here for drinks on the weekend, but this was our first time eating here. Food was fantastic and the service was great. Great energy and service. Highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and fried oysters!
My husband and I were there with 2 other couples ~ all of us in our 50's for NYE. It was a really young 20 something crowd. We had a lot of fun chatting with them. The (young) band lead singer/keyboard player sat down with us to eat his dinner & was super pleasant to get to know. Atmosphere was festive and fun. Seems to be a really popular spot as the line was out the door most of the night. We all enjoyed our dinner (shrimp tacos, prime rib special, burger, etc) and drinks which were all reasonably priced. I would recommend for a laid back & casual meal while in Charleston!
Big mistake people vaping passing one Juul up and down bar length pretty sure it was laced with something, Guys at end of bar groping young women then passing small packs that were quickly stuffed into there pockets made you wonder what was going on . Otherwise loud and obnoxious overserved patrons diffenetly will not go back and will let others know my thoughts on this place
Enjoyed brunch at the Dispensary. Got the $15 mimosas that served more than the 4 stated on the menu. (nice!) My wife had the blackened shrimp salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, guacamole, crispy tortilla chips, cheese, romaine, and honey cilantro dressing $13) and I had the madame croquette (ham, gruyere, creole mustard, mornay sauce, sunny side egg, and toasted brioche $12). Everything tasted great although the ham was a bit too salty. (I guess that's too be expected?) All in all an enjoyable Sunday afternoon.
We popped in for a bite to eat on a date night. We were really impressed by King Street Dispensary. The atmosphere is great, the staff is accommodating, and the service is prompt. We really enjoyed the pretzels and beer cheese for an appetizer. The wings are a good size and tossed in a good amount of sauce, but isn't too saucy. The truffle fries are to die for. There is also a great selection of beer here as well. I highly recommend.
