Kudu Coffee and Craft Beer

I asked my fiancé to find a nice coffee shop that also sells beer in Charleston. After her google search, she asked our friends at The Lucky Luchador and they also recommended your establishment. I was definitely impressed with the atmosphere and selection of beer that was available. I will be coming back soon and will be your ugliest ambassador!!! 😊

I visit Kudu regularly and it's one of my favorite spots in Charleston. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, whether I'm enjoying a coffee or a mimosa on their beautiful patio. The service is always top-notch—everyone is so kind and helpful. It’s truly one of the best coffee spots in the city, and I always look forward to my time there. Highly recommend it!

We got transported to heaven during lunch in the beautiful patio. The atmosphere was very cosy and calm, just a few meters from the busy King’s Street. The sandwiches were very good and the Cinnamon Spice tea was incredible.

This place was pretty hyped up… but what a disappointment!

Excellent location, pleasant space and TERRIBLE service.
Impatient and rude attendant when answering questions about coffee options.
After placing my order I noticed that he charged more than the menu showed but I didn't have the energy to question the attendant again.
Tasty coffee.
There are definitely other coffee shops nearby that offer friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere.

I have been coming here for about... 8 years or something like that. I never get tired of watching the fountain birds in the courtyard, it's such a peaceful place.
Beverage-wise, I like to come here for a pint to loosen up before particularly tough exams. I love their local beer selections... The coffee is excellent... And the live music events are delightful.

They make a great traditional Italian cappuccino!

Ok.. so much positive things to say about this gem. First of all their mint strawberry lemonade was amazing. Second of all they treated our huge group with respect even though we had a lot of kids with strollers. Very cute and well taken care of shop. Though I did not try their pastries but they looked delicious.

I've loved Kudu for many years - great college town coffee shop atmosphere, good coffee drinks, friendly & engaging staff, nice baked stuff, both inside & outdoor seating. Street parking only and not wheelchair accessible except outdoor courtyard beside the shop.
