The food, atmosphere, and overall quality were worth the price. However, the service could be improved, as it took quite a long time to get water refills and to find our server.
The food took a really long time, but it was delicious. I’m planning to come back again next week and hope I’ll be able to change my rating to 5 stars then.

10/10!!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL stunning place, amazing ambiance, and every single piece of food was so good and made with such care. Same with the drinks. Absolutely in love with this place. Service was great too, extremely friendly and attentive staff! Wish I took pics of the beautiful food but was too busy enjoying. Kinilaw was incredible. Also got the porridge, lumpia, and salmon curry. And 3 drinks between the two of us. All AMAZING. Pictured drink is the Holy City Salawat which was delightful.

I’m from NYC and I told my bf (who lives in Charleston) that I’m not relocating here unless I find a place that serves congee. And Kultura is the only place that serves it, from what I’ve heard. Guess I’ll be coming back! 🫠

I met up with a friend visiting Charleston for brunch at Kultura. We had no idea what to expect as neither of us had much experience with Filipino cuisine, although everything on the menu looked fresh and exciting.
I was most intrigued by the Tortang Talong, an eggplant omelet with banana ketchup aioli, sweet soy, and caviar with a side of sticky rice which was delicious and unlike anything I've tasted before. I also had the Halo Halo Mocktail and was sure have a few of the Ube pastries packaged to go for my husband at home.
Every single thing we tried was so original and delicious. My husband and I are excited to visit the new location for the dinner menu soon. Charleston is blessed to have such talented chefs from unique and inspiring backgrounds to create their art here. Lots of appreciation for Chef Nikko for his vision and talent.

Had a fantastic Kamayan dinner here tonight, and cannot wait to come back. Diana was a joy, the food was spectacular, and the cocktails were also great. Book the Kamayan if you’re coming on a Sunday night - it’s certainly the best food I’ve had in Charleston.

One of the best culinary experiences we’ve ever had! Our app appetizer was scrumptious! The owner of the restaurant greeted us and explained every dish to us as they came out. The porridge that’s seem as if it came straight from his grandmother’s kitchen was to die for. Even the dessert was awesome! Hands down one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston. Maybe THEE favorite!
Unfortunately could only find one photo from the experience in my Google cloud, which is of a delectable drink to start our meal.
We definitely will be back! Highly recommended!!

The Kamayan feast was such a fun way to spend our Sunday evening. This allows you to sample multiple staple me u items and I love the communal eating feel. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back to taste more of the individual and unique dishes!

One of the best dining experiences had here in Charleston. Thank you Chef Nikko for bringing such elevated Phillipino cuisine to the city. The lumpias and the curry fish are must trys. The scallops are also divine and you gotta wrap up the meal with thr dessert trio. Can't wait to be back!

This restaurant deserves every accolade and praise it gets. It’s gorgeous, the staff is very knowledgeable and attentive and the food transports you to the other side of the world in the best way possible. Only regret is having too big of a lunch so that I could not order more.

The food here was incredible! Every dish seemed to be prepared with intention. This is one of my new favorite Charleston restaurants and I can’t say enough good things. Yellowcard was a fantastic tequila cocktail, their take on a margarita I suppose. Lumpia (Filipino style egg rolls) came out very quickly after ordering and was a perfect app for two to split. Followed that with the Kinilaw, sliced raw tuna with amazing flavor in the sauce. Red Snapper Curry was amazing, served with tempura sweet potato strips (think fries but larger) and the braised mung beans so I didn’t have to order that as a side. The duck leg, Adobong Dilaw, was fantastic. Our server heard that I was curious in trying to rice porridge dish, Arroz Caldo, but didn’t end up ordering it, so they brought me out a small serving of it to try. Wonderful service, they didn’t have to do that. They also gave me a small scoop of mango ice cream for my birthday which was good. Overall we walked out extremely stuffed from all of this food. WILL BE BACK!!! Can’t wait.
