Beautiful Hotel

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was struck by the hotel's beautiful blend of classic charm and modern cleanliness. The interiors are tastefully designed—elegant without being overdone, with thoughtful details that evoke a sense of timeless sophistication. What an amazing hotel, we will definitely be back.

We chose to stay at Hotel Bennett for my birthday weekend, and it was fabulous. The staff were wonderful, specifically the concierge, Kevin McQuade. We usually wouldn’t sit down to talk to the concierge, but Kevin was friendly and not at all pushy. He helped us find dinner reservations and a culinary tour for the following day. He recommended the Royal Tern for dinner which was mind-blowing (definitely get the ahi tuna) and the Undiscovered Charleston culinary tour with Chef Forrest Parker. The tour was the highlight of our trip, so if you’re a foodie, I would definitely suggest you check it out. Kevin also gave us recommendations for our upcoming trip to France, which really showed us how much he cared about making our experience great, and not just selling to us. The only disappointment of our stay at Hotel Bennett was the lack of any birthday surprises or treats. I had expected a glass of champagne or an extra piece of chocolate on my pillow, but our stay didn’t have any special additions. I will definitely give a shoutout to Claudia and Lindsay at the spa who gave me an incredibly relaxing massage (Claudia) and a fabulous facial (Lindsay). It was definitely on the pricier side, but the services were fantastic.

The coffee is quite acrid and bitter.

Wow from the moment we walked in we were met with nothing but 5 star service. The whole staff at Hotel Bennett was fantastic. Everyone was so kind and friendly and happy to help. I want to give a special shout out to Tristan. Wow, what a wonderful young man! He is one of a kind! Tristan did whatever we needed to ensure we had the best stay ever. I cannot thank him enough. I would recommend hotel Bennett to anyone!

There are many hotels that claim to be 5-star, but the standard of amenities and service fall far short of this level of hospitality. The Bennett is one of them! I am thinking about its pool that is a kinda bigger bathtub, and the gym looks like a bigger storage room!

P.S. Please do something about the noisy AC!

This hotel was spectacular, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. I gave the service 4 stars because the towels and bed linens had an unpleasant odor. Otherwise, I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. I hope they can correct the odor in the linens.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Bennett, we were met with warm hospitality and incredible attentiveness from the staff. Every interaction felt genuine and professional, and several thoughtful accommodations were made throughout our stay to ensure we were completely comfortable.

In-room dining was prompt and courteous, with staff who went above and beyond to deliver with care and politeness. The entire experience, from the beautiful surroundings to the personalized service, made our stay absolutely wonderful. We truly felt cared for and will definitely be returning.

Highly recommend Hotel Bennett to anyone visiting Charleston who wants a luxury experience with exceptional service.

This was more than a hotel this was a home away from home. You are treated like royalty. The place was super clean, staff friendly although the concierge wasn't so inviting but the hotel management contacted me after our stay and inquired and ensured they would discuss this issue. Otherwise, the rooftop bar was excellent. The location is perfect with so many restaurants and shops around. We kept our vehicle parked for the most part and walked. The valet is a little pricey but I assumed it paid the guys to park, tip, etc.

My wife and I recently spent five unforgettable nights at Hotel Bennett celebrating our anniversary, and from the moment we walked in, we were surrounded by luxury, warmth, and impeccable service.

The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect for exploring all that Charleston has to offer. We could walk to incredible dining, shopping, and historic sites (we did Uber to several locations). But what truly sets Hotel Bennett apart is its people. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely service-oriented. You can tell they take great pride in making every guest feel special.

The amenities were nothing short of exceptional. We indulged in a spa experience that included one of the best massages we've ever had, and we spent time relaxing by the rooftop pool in a private cabana, a perfect way to unwind. My wife’s favorite experience of the entire trip was afternoon tea at Camellias, elegant, charming, and beautifully presented. We also dined at Fiat Lux, which offered not only stunning views but excellent cuisine. Each morning began with coffee and pastries from La Pâtisserie, a delightful spot within the hotel that quickly became part of our routine.

Hotel Bennett delivers an unmatched attention to detail, from the décor to the service to the overall guest experience, everything is thoughtfully curated and flawlessly executed. This was our first trip to Charleston, and thanks to this hotel, it certainly won’t be our last.

Hotel Bennett exceeded every expectation, highly recommended for anyone seeking a refined, romantic, and memorable stay in Charleston.

Surprised and Brought my husband to Hotel Bennett for 50th from Oregon. It was worth the trip! We have traveled all over and usually stay in 5 star hotels, Hotel Bennett’s service and hospitality were bar none. I booked the Kings Club, worth the splurge!! We have done the inclusive floors before, Hotel Bennett surpassed them all. We loved the history of the city, the culture of true southern hospitality and the charm of the old south. Hotel Bennett is right in the heart of it all. The pool is smaller and nothing to write home about but I expected as much with a Hotel right in the town hub on top of a high rise. Shout out to Tammy, William and Kevin. Connoisseur ? who use to live in Oregon, forgot your name but we loved you too! Recommended Blueberry muffins from bakery and yes! Worth getting. ❤️ They all brought the weekend alive for us as they offered ideas for places to eat and places to roam as we walked the city during the day and went for early morning runs down less traveled streets. Please don’t hesitate to book your stay. If you are use to quality and service, Hotel Bennett won’t disappoint.

3 years later went back again. 💕 Absolutely in love with South Carolina and Hotel Bennett embodies what the south is all about; Hospitality, congeniality and class.

We stayed here last weekend for my girlfriend’s birthday. I arranged (and paid) to have flowers and champagne in the premier king room when we arrived. So, when the room was actually ready (after waiting an hour) there were no flowers and no champagne waiting for her. They delivered those after we checked in. So much for a birthday surprise?
We paid extra for the King’s Club, which was nice.
Upon arriving to the rooftop pool, we sat down in some empty lounge chairs to then be accosted by your employee, Allie, who instructed us we had to move because these seats were “reserved” yet there was no indication of that. There were no empty spots to move to so we asked her if we could stay and pay to “reserve” these chairs and she replied “No, the sign must have blown off but you can sit on the side of the pool.”
Seriously? Wow. I guess that only those with reservations control the whole pool.
That being said, we will not be staying here again. As a “luxury” hotel, which I paid a premium to stay, the experience is less than top-notch. As we travel to Charleston often, there are several more accommodating high-end places in which we will choose to spend our money.
