The food might be good but the middle aged woman behind the counter was so rude to me for no reason. I was so nice. She must have been having a bad day but her energy made me never want to come back.

Had Greek chicken and potato soup both soups were so nasty I couldn’t even eat them I’ve have been down sick haven’t ate in days first thing I tried to eat and bc of the taste I can’t eat it

Had a great lunch trying the she crab soup and the chef salad. I absolutely loved the homemade ranch dressing and my friend said that turkey chili was fantastic. Very cute cozy atmosphere loved the exposed brick walls,antique toilet and the very spotless clean kitchen and dining room also great price point.

I order and pick up here often. The workers are masculine with condescending attitudes. They’re qualified to work at a gas station. This place will have success if they hire warm and friendly faces behind the register. Don’t interact with customers when you lack common courtesy.

What a great little hidden gem this place is. No frills but amazing food in a super cool little basement if this old home. The soup is top tier and the sandwiches are great! The service was attentive and very helpful on our first time in. Would be a great spot for a wine and soup tasting for something different.

We love the soup selection at Ladles! My favorite is the Greek Lemon Chicken, but all of their soups are very tasty. We've enjoyed Ladles for nearly a decade now (at two different locations), and they never disappoint with their selection of delicious soups, sandwiches & salads. Great staff & owners, too.
My wife and I were very hungry after walking around Downtown Charleston all morning. It was hot out, so a lighter meal of soup and salad sounded perfect. We had the She Crab and Broccoli Soups and a Pimento Cheese and a Grilled Cheese. We were very impressed, especially with the She Crab, so much so that we ended up getting a bowl of that to go after our meal.
I grew up eating pimento cheese from my grandmother and mother and have also had it other places. Ladies’ is different, but in a good way. It was very smooth, but also had a really good flavor.
My wife loved the decor inside and out and also, the prices are very reasonable for what you get. It’s a little walk from King St, but it’s worth it.
