I came in to check out the retail wine shop, and Karen who helped me was extremely kind and informative, I was blown away by her wine knowledge and she gave me some fantastic recommendations! They have a great selection of unique wines and their prices are very reasonable as well.

I love eating here was going to recommend this place to a few people, until I was chased in the parking lot and she proceeded to ask did me and my guest pay the bill and disregarded asking her Server first, her excuse was he usually doesn't take the check up, very disgusting behavior.

Laura Alberts is surely a favorite spot on Daniel Island for a professional lunch with a concise menu of favorites to please most. The service is reliably good and the food is consistently delicious. The Blackened Ahi rare tuna BLT with the collard greens or the crab cake sandwich are both outstanding. You really can't go wrong here on the menu. When the weather is right a leisurely lunch on the patio outside with a glass of wine is casual and a nice spot to relax.Vegetarian options: Lots of salad options with or without proteins.Parking: Don't worry if you can't find a spot in front of the restaurant. Larger shared parking lot in the rear.

Beautiful setting and the food was amazing! The fried green tomatoes are the best we’ve ever had in and around the city and come with an array of accoutrements that give every bite a new flavor. The LA Cuban and blackened chicken salad were most excellent, as well. I will say that, if you are on a schedule, wait until you have time to fully enjoy the experience, as the service was more laid back. That is not, however, unique to this establishment, but seemingly the island as a whole where, the only people moving at a fast pace are the joggers. Put this restaurant on your list of places to visit, for sure!

Tried again, again with no results. Waited over one hour for 2 sandwiches. No one offered any explanation. SpokeWith Manager who was very nice and she wanted us to wait to speak with owner. We had already told waiter and manager to forget the food. Owner came with food after we said not wanted and was EXTREMELY rude to my wife and I making every lame excuse in the book and Never said she was sorry..Never again. Was at least 4th try with negative results.Cannot recommend any meals cuz never actually got to enjoy anything anytime we have gone. Lame operation.

We ended up here by chance, but it was great. The duck was truly exceptional, and the jumbo crab cake addition to a small Ceasar salad was also great!

With all the hype surrounding this restaurant on Daniel Island, we expected it to be so much better. My husband and I left a bit disappointed. The ladies at the front were a tad rude as we walked in at 1pm without a reservation. We were more than happy to wait but it was the way we were greeted. Our server was a delight however. Our appetizer of brie bites - average. The brie could have been melted a little more. Tomato bisque soup was served luke warm & the grilled cheese - super average. The chicken pesto caprese was good but nothing special. The best thing we ate was the strawberry cake for dessert which we were told was not made in house.
