Beautifully curated. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive and wanted to make everyone happy, down to the wine pairings, and appetizer choices. Food was delicious. Bathrooms could use an update.

We had a wonderful dinner and experience at Le Farfalle! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how absolutely gorgeous the restaurant is — both inside and out. The atmosphere feels elegant yet welcoming.

The service was truly impeccable. Every detail was handled so professionally — plates and utensils cleared seamlessly between courses, and every staff member we interacted with was attentive and kind without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to find service this polished and consistent.

As for the food… phenomenal! The whipped ricotta was a standout appetizer. And as someone who eats gluten-free, I was blown away by their gluten-free pasta — it actually tasted like real pasta. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

Le Farfalle easily became one of our favorite dining experiences in Charleston. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves great Italian food, impeccable service, and a stunning atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back!

The fact that this place is only 4.4 is criminal. This is an easy 5 stars for me. Cameron our server was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. The food was also top tier. We will be back!

La Farfelle is one of our absolute favorites in Charleston. The food is always so good! We’ve never had a bad meal here. Darlene goes above and beyond every time, and we were touched that she even remembered us after a year! She makes every visit feel special. Our server, Macaela, was also wonderful, attentive, kind, and made sure everything was just right. Between the consistently delicious food and the amazing service, La Farfelle is a place we always look forward to returning to!

We would definitely want to come back here. The food was so good. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on this menu. The only negative is that restaurant was loud. If it weren’t so hot, it would have been perfect to sit outside. Just ate here last night and I’m still dreaming about the pasta, longing for more.

Drinks were good, the restaurant itself is nice but very loud. That isn't their fault, just stating that it was hard to hold conversation. it was so dark I had to use my phone to see the menu. Our server was great, and the bartender was great. The appetizer we got the whipped ricotta was pretty good, but our main meals were in my opinion just ok. I had Chicken Milanesa and for 9 dollars got a side plate of spaghetti with red sauce. My wife got Chicken Parm. Im not sure if this place knows where the salt is in the kitchen. Was it bad, NO, was it just OK, YES. For how much it costs and all the hype I had seen on social media, we were all extremely disappointed. We all agreed we would not go back. We had better Italian on King Street that was far less money.

If I could give 10 stars I would. We came to Charleston for our anniversary/babymoon and this restaurant was the top of our must do list. We had an early dinner reservation and were seated right away. We ordered the mint condition and salted grapefruit shrub (NA) to drink and received them immediately. It’s tough to find a really good mocktail but this one was spot on!

For food, we knew from online reviews and social media exactly what we wanted to order and were so lucky to have received the last octopus carpaccio which was not only delicious, but beautifully plated as well. We also ordered the braised artichokes and warm rosemary focaccia for our appetizers and all three dishes were amazing. We’ve never had anything quite like the artichoke dish before, which my husband described as a deconstructed stuffed artichoke with bread crumbs. It was amazing on its own but also great when we dipped the focaccia. For our main entrees, we ordered the agnolotti (duck pasta) and the squid ink spaghetti (at our server’s suggestion). Both dishes were unbelievable; there are no words to adequately describe this culinary experience. The agnolotti melted in my mouth and the squid ink was such a bright and zesty dish. Thank goodness we ate light earlier in the day because we would have licked our plates clean if it weren’t frowned upon, the food was that good.

Finally, the atmosphere and staff were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. They added to the overall experience we had. The venue itself is beautiful and the layout is untraditional but feels very open and roomy. The decor choices were beautiful as well. The staff were also a delight. We had Jacob as our server and he was nothing short of wonderful. When he learned it was our anniversary and we had checked out of our hotel and would be leaving Charleston straight from dinner without ordering dessert (we were stuffed and no room left), he had a tiramisu panna cotta wrapped up with plastic spoons for us to go! Joe, the maitre’d was also very friendly and checked in on us a couple of times during the meal as well as welcoming us in when we walked in. Sometimes it feels uncomfortable or intrusive when staff make small talk at the table, but with Joe, he felt like he could have been an old friend. We didn’t meet the chef or owner but when I complimented the chef and noted how impressed we were with our experience to Jacob, he even stated that Chef Mike is a great boss too. It’s so wonderful to hear when the boss treats his staff with respect, and I do believe that respect is reflected in the atmosphere the staff creates for the guests. It certainly showed for our experience at least. If we come through Charleston again, we will absolutely visit La Farfalle again!

The food was mid at best and way overhyped. You can find better Italian food. Also, the tiramisu isn’t tiramisu it’s just a panna cotta pudding with no lady fingers layered into it. They just put dried ones on top as cookie crumble. So disappointed in this highly recommended place. But the server was incredible!

Got the Fusilli Lunghi it was little over average. Noodles were harder than they should have been but sauce was great. Atmosphere was decent. I liked the decor but the tables were set up really weird. I have the most to say about the service. Justin our server assistant went above and beyond! He was the best part of our evening. He was constantly checking in without ever checking in too much. He made sure we have everything we needed from water to drinks to food. We were honestly disappointed he wasn’t our server. Jaspeth didn’t check on us very often compared to Justin, and he made us feel unwelcome. We were trying to have a carefree enjoyable dinner and were met with eye rolls. Hoping to come back and try the Duck Confit and have Justin as my server!

WOW! As a person who just moved to Charleston this restaurant was an absolute gem. Food was great, atmosphere immaculate, and drinks to die for. But what made this a 5 star experience was our bartender Jameson 🤩 Not only was he hospitable but personable. He displayed excellent knowledge when it came to the menu and especially the Amari. He is the reason I will keep coming back!!
