This is our 2nd time here now, and loved both experiences. Rob the server was fun, and gave great food choice advice. We had a party of 4 and everyone loved their meals. It wasn't too busy and the food came fast. Cool location too.

Our first time in South Carolina, our first taste of lowcountry fare, and it did not dissapoint. The Shrimp and Grits that we've heard so much about was amazing! Perfectly done, wonderful flavor. And the She Crab soup was also perfect. Add the wonderful view of the Oak Island Creek and the marsh... amazing ! our server was delightful. I can't recommend this hidden gem strongly enough !

If you are looking for great seafood in a small local place this is a good place to go! The food was awesome. Its small place with limited seating so keep that in mind. We went around sunset time and it was very pretty. Sat in the covered porch area but not sure what else was available. There was a bar area that was full with people eating. Overall its a small place but food and service was great!

Came to the restaurant for the first time today. Got the New Orleans and the food was amazing, the seafood was fresh and seasoned very well. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars was because of the food. However the customer service was not so great. We were greeted when we came in that was the only good thing I can say about the customer service we received. We were walked out to a dirty table, the hostess wiped down table but left food in the chairs. The lady who actually waited on us did not come check on us for our entire meal except for once right after we got our food, and I mean I had only barely taken one bite from my plate, and never came back to table to refill drinks, see if we needed anything else, etc. When she did finally come back to the table it was not a nice interaction like we were an inconvenience and this was to pay the bill. Asked for a receipt that was never brought to us. I could understand if the place was packed and busy but it was not at the time we were there. All the staff did was stand and talk and not check on tables. Now I was told by the person who brought us there how great the place was, again the food was amazing but the customer service was non-existent. Dropped to 1 star because you can clearly see they don't care about the reviews.

I had combo fried oysters & shrimp. The shrimp were good, but oysters had little flavors and wondered if they were even prepared there. The side dishes were poor. Like many restaurants they have moved to those starchy coated fries which are really bad and even the hushpuppies appeared to be out of frozen bag. Overall experience left me wondering if they are doing any fresh prep in the kitchen.
Delicious food. I left full and satisfied, which is a rare combo when I go eating out. My wife had the Catch-of-the-day (grouper over brown rice), and I had the New Orleans bowl (fried grits, shrimp, crawfish, and a Cajun sauce). So much depth in the flavor. Next time we're in town, we're stopping here again.
