Can’t rave about this place enough. We are visiting and were recommended we try Ma’am Saab. The service is top tier- both the GM & Owner introduced themselves to us. The lemonade, absolutely to die for. It’s fresh squeezed and homemade. The food was phenomenal. We got the wings, the zucchini, and butter chicken. 10/10!!!
I’ve been to Ma’am Saab a few times now and am always pleased after a visit. The vibe is funky and cool, leaves you feeling transported to a different world. The dishes I’ve tried are all bursting with flavor and generous portions. I’ll be back!
If you want to be treated with disrespect and deal with rude staff for absolutely no reason, then you should definitely go there...

I genuinely had a nice experience here. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston. The ambiance was great and the staff was kind and experienced. I would say one odd thing about the food was the choice to use Fried Onions on top as a garnish. I felt like it didn't add anything to the dish and there's a lot of cooler toppings you could use if you wanted a crunch. Also it automatically ruined the gluten free advertisement on some of the dishes which isn't fun if you're someone who can't digest gluten.

The food was excellent, as it has been on past visits. I wish there were a few more “curry” types of dishes, like the excellent butter chicken, but everything is done well. The restaurant also does a nice job of creating atmosphere and vibe in a not-easy space that opens directly to the street. Tonight’s waiter, though…wow. It was like the guy was being deliberately unhelpful. Even outright deceitful in one instance. Wouldn’t return if I thought he was on duty.

Very good food and decent service. Have been twice and have had mixed experiences. Overall very good food and classic service. Not sure it matches the price point but it’s also downtown
Amazing Lamb biryani and butter chicken. Naan could be better.

Tried this place for the first time last week for their Happy Hour! Everything was 10/10 amazing when it comes to service, atmosphere and the food. The happy hour menu had the perfect variety of options for anyone to try or dip your taste buds into Pakistani food. Definitely will be returning!

Went here for dinner with my husband tonight. The food was excellent and served very quickly. The inside of the restaurant has a very cool vibe and decorated nicely! The mocktail I had was very good and a great option for those who don't drink alcohol. My husband and I split the qeema pav as an appetizer. The dish contained ground lamb, which I'm not usually a fan of, but I thought it was amazing and the only lamb dish I've ever liked. My husband and I got the butter chicken as an entree. The chicken was extremely tender and flavorful. The butter sauce was delicious and some of the best I've ever had. The price is rather expensive but I think the quality of food and location in downtown Charleston makes it worth it.

Very unprofessional. Accepted reservation weeks ago for New Year’s Eve on Open Table and then cancelled it a couple days before because they are going to close early. If they were, they shouldn’t have had times available on the app! Manage your business professionally so others aren’t left hanging, too! Voice transcript from the message left today at 3:45 pm -“ “Hey, how you doing? This is the general manager of our math app. I see that you have reservations with us on New Year's Eve unfortunately I'm so sorry that we are closed. We're closing down early so if you can give back, give me a call back that way we can kind of switch your reservations on another time. I'm so sorry that's a holiday so we're closing out early on that day. Thank you. Just give me a call back. I'm at my Sam. Thank you, sir thank you so much.…”
I occasionally have to travel to Charleston for work, and I always use it as an opportunity to go to Ma'am Saab.
