We went for lunch, there were so many great choices! We had the Pimento Cheese for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. My friend and I shared the Chicken Tenders and Classic Vegetarian plate full of great southern veggies. Delish! The atmosphere was inviting and the service was great. Definitely highly recommend!

One of my favorite spots to go to when traveling to Downtown Charleston SC My first time there I believe was in 1998 and I keep returning because it's so many delicious entrees, great customer service, and a pleasant atmosphere.
My last visit on 9/7-9/8 I had the shellfish over grits for brunch(delicious) my mother had the pecan crusted chicken and waffles for dessert we tried the red velvet bread pudding a little different, I enjoyed the icecream that came with it. And the next day I had the buttermilk fried chicken breast we also tried the crab cake with the apple cole slaw as an appetizer delicious.
You must give it a try!

This was the swordfish pasta. It was delicious. I would recommend Magnolias to all travelers.

Magnolias was recommended to us by a horse-drawn carriage staff member. It did not disappoint! The crab Benedict is enough for two people, and the bread was like manna from heaven. Come hungry and leave stuffed.

Delicious! The salmon was cooked perfectly which is not a given at most restaurants so that's saying something. Ordered the half order of boulliabaise and it was very good. The crab soup was also delicious. The deviled eggs were passable though.

First visit. It was highly recommended by our hotel. Hubby had the fried chicken, and I had the parmesan crusted catch of the day. Both were pretty good. Our starter was the fried green tomatoes that I highly recommend. You get sweet, salty, and savory which was a pleasure.
