Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint

I ordered the catfish sandwich and it was great!! My husband got the brisket burger and it was awesome. My daughter ordered the ribs with two sides. The ribs were great but she never received her sides and no one came to check on us or refill our drinks. My husband had to go outside each time to get our drinks. We added a tip at the order counter and received zero service. We decided we would go back because the food was good but hopefully next time the service will be better.

This was my first time visiting from Alabama. The barbecue chicken and ribs did not have a smoke taste at all. Baked beans had to much barbecue taste. Potatoes salad was chunky. No I want be back. I have had better.

Pick up is quick and easy, or you can bring your dog with you and eat outside! Plenty of space. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Oh and strawberry cake on Saturdays is to die for!

Friendly folks, great food, will come back! Hoecakes *slap,* catfish was amazing, BBQ chicken was juicy and fell off the bone. 10/10, no notes

Wheelchair accessibility: I am not a wheelchair user, but entrance and dining room are all level. Doors may be a bit tight. Bar area has a step.

Lovely place to eat! The brisket fries appetizer made the day, burger portions were just enough for someone who just came from beach after long swimming! Definitely coming back again!

We have been coming to Martin's for awhile. Especially because someone there is a HUGE Chiefs fan! Hubs is from KC and we know BBQ. Tonight was a let down. We spent $28.99 on 1 lb of brisket which we had to throw away more than 1/2 because it was ALL FAT!! However, the mac n cheese was really good. Service was ok. We ordered takeout & came later than requested by the restaurant and our food still wasn't ready we were told it would be an additional 20 minutes. Its not like it had to be cooked after we ordered it- its smoked meat. It should not have taken over an hour to get our food.

Had to run up to the bank and swing into Martins for a brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese and the brisket had an amazing bark on it. It wasn’t fatty at all and fell apart with each bite! Sooo delicious. The bun was toasted and gave a good crunch and mouth feel with the addition of their bbq sauce and brisket! Will definitely be back to try out some of their other offerings. They had a sign up for live music open to all ages in their beer garden. I ordered the orange crush and having spent a lot of time in a beach Martins orange crush gives every other one I’ve ever had a run for their money! The staff was attentive and the service was friendly and welcoming. I sat outside at the bar area and it was pleasant and enjoyable!

I’ll make sure to bring the wife and friends when they come to visit!

Definitely recommend trying this place. I just went here with my boyfriend’s family for lunch and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the staff was very attentive to us. It wasn’t crowded so we got our food exceptionally fast!

Bland. Ribs were way over cooked and dry as the bone they were clinging to. My wife didn't finish her pulled pork so I have to assume it wasn't that good. It was not bad it just wasn't that good. Brisket just didn't do it as well as Louis's. If you pay that much it should be on point.
