So glad I stopped in at this place!I've been looking for a decent Filipino food since moving out here, and this place definitely hits the spot!Parking is a little bit iffy, but it is worth it. I had to try the Karekare, and it did not disappoint. It reminded me of my ninang's cooking back in California. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the wait staff definitely know what they are talking about.Parking: Very small parking lot, maybe about 10 or so spots in the actual lot, with a couple of extra spots on the side. Be careful not to park in the adjacent apartment complex.

I have been going to this restaurant for years now, even when they were first located near the Northwoods Mall / Ice Palace. The staff that work here are clearly passionate about providing great service and are always so nice. I know some of the staff now, and they recognize my fiancé and I whenever we come in. They know what we like to order, and they make it a point to check in on us and make friendly conversation. We’ve had tons of things off the menu, some including the classic pad thai, bistek, adobo, curry, sushi, and all the appetizers. Everything is amazing and affordable (especially for the portion sizes). We love this place and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. We hope everyone that visits gets to enjoy this restaurant as much as we have!Vegetarian options: There are multiple vegetarian options, mainly including tofu as a protein if you’re looking for something hearty. There’s also plenty of gluten free and pescatarian options, everything is delicious!

Pad Thai was great! The seafood fried rice was so-so, just because the calamari was kind of tough and I didn't see any crabmeat. The chicken wonton soup was delicious. Great service!

The food was a little pricey, but it was so good. I had chicken with broccoli and had all of these vegetables in it as well. They gave a lot of food. This was the first time I’ve ever had Thai food that was so seasoned so well. I really enjoyed it, and I would pay to eat there

I am a big fan of Thai food. I do a lot of travel with work and try local Thai food places just about everywhere I go. This is the best all around Thai food spot I've found. Great traditional Thai and Philipino foods with a friendly atmosphere that blends a wonderful family vibe and southern hospitality combined with a delicious array of food makes Mei Thai a breath of fresh air. The fanstastic vegetarian options are a big bonus for my non-connivorous family and friends. I am obviously not alone in this opinion because they get very busy on weekends. Expect a wait of about 20 minutes at these times, but walk-in meals can be had all during the week with no wait. If you drop in on a busy night, thats ok, because the wait is definately worth it!Vegetarian options: Entire vegitarian section on the menu.Parking: 80 spots out front, additional parking available across the side street. Busy weekends but plenty during the week.

Great Filipino food. If that's not your thing, the Thai food is legit as well. The new location on Old Trolley is more spacious and has a great atmosphere. If you haven't had Filipino food before, try the Chicken Inasal for something safe or my favorite , Pork Sinigang.
