Used to love coming here but lately it’s been absolutely trash the brisket is horrible now super chewy and dry just not what it used to be sad to see a good place go to garbage

Melvin’s didn’t live up to the hype for me. The place was very cool looking but the bbq was just ok for me.
I had the pulled pork with two sides.
The sides were very good. I had baked beans and Mac and cheese. My wife had a burger abs she liked it. I would like to give it another try to see if I like the ribs or brisket.

Nasty employees rude management food margenal

Easily the most lackadaisical employees on the island. The food is good, but the workers seem like they’ve been huffing paint all day

Never had such dry, hard, chewy brisket. Don’t even try the messy chili cheese fries.

I tried for the first time and wasn’t impressed with the burger I tried and fries. Very greasy and it tastes like the fountain drink lines aren’t cleaned properly.

BBQ and Mac and cheese was great, hash and rice was a little tomatoey, no cornbread. Banana pudding was disappointing

Ordered 28 wet wings with secret sauce. I have no idea what their secret sauce tastes like because there was no sauce on the wings...none...I received just fried wings, nice and dry. Not what I ordered.

Dang!!! I've been a big fan of this place for over 23 years. I always tell people it's the best. Sadly this is no longer true. Last several occasions I received Soggy cold fries, cold chewy onion rings, DRY salty as hell brisket! The kind you gotta dig out from in between your teeth and crazzzy high prices! $20 for a drink and a sandwich. Won't even give you a napkin for that price! Fuhgettaboutit!!!

Went to pick up food I had already ordered. I then asked after waiting in line, for a pint of Mac n cheese. I paid for said Mac n cheese and was then given my food and cups. I went and filled 3 cups and came back and waited. Bout 5 minutes after waiting a kid came up and asked if I needed anything. ( Was waiting at counter since I had my food and drinks, just waiting on Lil Mac). I said I was waiting for my Mac and he turned to the window and asked if he could get a side of Mac. Kitchen staff gave him a side portion. I said, sorry but I ordered a pint and had my receipt out. He said " oh, sorry" then turned to the cook and said never mind. I then waited another 5 min till the screen had my one item blinking red. Not sure if I'm mistaken but red means it should have been out right. Instead it took about 15 min for two or three scoops of Mac n cheese...while the two upfront looked at me like I'm stupid.
