The cuisine at Merci is outstanding, with many dishes being hard to pick a favorite from. The Beef Wellington is a definite star, taking 50 minutes to prepare and served to perfection with an incredible sauce poivrade, fabulously decorated French pastry dough, handcrafted vegetables, and whipped duchess potatoes. Other highly recommended small plates and starters include focaccia bread with Benton’s cured ham and honey, tuna Crudo, and beef tartare on handcrafted charcoal brioche bread with tallow aioli. The steak tartar has also received praise, served with black bread infused with seeds and activated charcoal, making for a brilliant pairing. For those who appreciate vegetables, the leek dish is a standout, described as something one could actually crave.
