Some of the best food in town! I've been multiple times, every time my buddy comes to town he demands we go to Mesu, so now it's a tradition.
Food was incredible!! Lots of celebrations, see er was friendly and helped us decide where to go after.
Me and my wife celebrated our 3 year anniversary, visiting Charleston. Out waitress was top notch. She acknowledged our wedding anniversary. She was very engaging with us. She was so genuine and energetic. Mesu , is on top of the list , of restaurants to visit when we, come back to Charleston.
Wonderful spot for a 10-15 person party with good sushi, great vibes, and friendly service.
Mesu is one of our favorites. You can not go wrong with their sushi rolls and the barbacoa nachos! The food, staff, and atmosphere is perfect!
Lauren made our triple birthday so special!! Service 10/10. Food 10/10. Music 10/10!! Can’t wait to revisit!!!

Lauren was an amazing server, effortlessly handled all 19 of us for our friend’s bachelorette, and even changed out my drink when she noticed I wasn’t loving it. Such great food here too! Definitely will return next time I’m in Charleston

Everything was outstanding however the temperature of the restaurant was way too cold, so cold it was uncomfortable in typical summer attire. Please consider warming up for a more enjoyable experience.
Endless tequila options and very nice atmosphere and service.

I was doubtful when I saw combined Mexican Sushi. I don't think I will ever be back. I wasn't a fan of the seasoning on the chips, it was too sweet. There was guacamole-lime on my sushi role, which I was willing to try, but the fish was terrible. It was tough and I could smell it when they set it down. I couldn't finish the roll.
My friend said his margarita was really good, but pricy.

Food was good but was quite expensive. Definitely enjoyed it though.

It was great. Good foods, the biggest sushi roll I've ever seen. Salsa was amazing and so were the fish tacos.
Site doesn't say that they stop serving food at any particular time.

4:00 PM - 2:00 AM. My party arrived at 11pm in the rain. We paid for parking just to try this place just for us to get there and be turned away saying they weren't serving food. They say they stop serving takeout at 10, but nowhere did we see that they dont serve any food after 10. What a disappointment. Definitely needs better management and or communication. 0/10

We usually visit this place often and many times had a positive experience. However, last night we had to wait a while to get our table and we had a reservation, our waiter did not have any knowledge of sake, and they have changed the menu and some of the good stuff on the menu is no longer there, including seaweed salad and edamame, which are very basic items. We were disappointed after we left. One of us took one bite of the quesadilla and it was awful and even though we mentioned this to our waiter, nothing was really done and at the end I asked that it will not be on the final bill and he took it off, but never recommended to bring something else or apologize.
