I have to preface this by saying that our waitress was FABULOUS. I wish I could remember her name and that I was financially able to tip her more, but she really was lovely. It felt like family. Food was solidly alright. We went here because we had a voucher for free queso from a Riverdogs game. The queso is literally velveeta cheese with some pickles jalapenos on top. Salsa was good. Loved the chips! Fresh made, although they were somehow stale while being fresh? I got the two taco place - the grilled mahi taco and spicy snapper mango taco. Both were good - fish was slightly overcooked and I honestly couldn't tell the two apart, which maybe was intentional? I had a side of brown rice and black beans. Not very salted unfortunately. My sister had the baja bowl which she said was good. Not terrible food, but not the best.

Mediocre at best. Small and I mean small portion size. I have a chicken taco and the piece of chicken was about the size of a chicken nugget. Taste was good but value was missing. Upgraded my side from rice and beans for $1.50 to the street corn. Again, portion was very small with a “high” upgrade price for canned corn with some seasoning on top. Drinks from the bar were weak and margaritas tasted like pure sour mix. Service was okay but waitress did not want to take empty plates or bottles. Another waitress finally grabbed them.

I love max one’s food, although it’s always been pricy. I was annoyed today with the slow service and they added a 3% surcharge for credit to my bill even tho I was paying cash, caused me to have to sit there for another 5 minutes to ask her to remove it and finally just went up to the bar to have it removed.

Staff was very friendly & food was amazing! Highly recommend the queso dip (it's like having elote in a dip form). Music was relaxing and tasteful.
The nachos were great! Lots of food and delicious. The quesadillas were also great. The complimentary chips were delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service.

My Stars! The corn cheese dip is out of this world ? So delicious ?? absolutely love the banging shrimp ? Taco. The new pick 2 tacos and rice with beans . My new favorite! The corn chips are warm airy and crisp. This is my favorite restaurant.
Nice place, good employees…but holy smokes their prices are high for the food you get. A small quesadilla is $16? Tacos start at $5? Definitely overpriced.
