Excellent mussels. Very delicious. Had French onion soup also. It was tasty but way too salty. Had Chloe as a server. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Cold brew martini was very good.
39 Rue de Jean is in a great location for anyone seeing a show at the Charleston Music Hall or Music Farm. There is plenty of parking in the visitors center (bus shed) just a couple blocks away.

First and foremost, this restaurant came recommended, but it was an overall disappointment. The hostess was not friendly or inviting. A frown rather than a smile. I had the French onion soup and it was very thick and luke warm. The large Cesar salad was a side salad portion and the steak was cool, not warm.
I asked for a Last Word cocktail and was disappointed. It tasted like licorice and not served with the correct cherries.
