Middleton Place Restaurant

Fantastic lunch. Stopped in while visiting. Shrimp and grits and White bean ragout were really tasty. Our server was nice. Definitely plan on having lunch here if going to Middleton.

Okra was hard. Real fried okra is not rock hard. The mac and cheese was cold and crumbly. The pecan pie came from a really bad food vendor. But it's a nice restaurant

These folks catered for a wedding I attended on the plantation. Given this wedding was lavish, to say the least, you would expect the food to rise to the occasion… It did not. The local fish was bland, and the filet was chewy, and my party members agreed. The small bites were excellent (fried chicken, shrimp and grits)

Middleton Place restaurant is lovely. Experience the historical restaurant in the daytime as night time it is pretty darn dark. Long driveway, go in the direction of the small sign that says restaurant and it is the building that is not clearly marked restaurant except for on the front of the building. The atmosphere is beautiful inside. We felt like we walked right into 1717. Food was delicious, service was top notch, and the restaurant was clean.

Good crab sandwich for lunch. Fried okra was ok but would prefer picked okra (more flavor v. fried coating).

My wife and I ate here Tuesday at lunch. My wife had the fried chicken and I had shrimp and grits. Both were very good. Tim did a great job serving us. The setting was so peaceful and matched the overall ambiance of the plantation life.

We went for dinner and had an amazing time-- the space is small & intimate with an unbeatable atmosphere. The views of the gardens are beautiful and the perfect backdrop to the fantastic meal we shared. We got an appetizer, entrees, & dessert and loved everything. The number of specials was outstanding and you can feel the love and passion the chef has for the food. Everything we had was great & introduced us to new flavors and experiences. The wait staff is lovely, attentive & so charming.

Everything we ordered: Farmers cheese appetizer, butchers cut, chicken perloo, & icebox cake.

You can't beat the view here! The food is really good for a tourist place too! Shrimp and grits, spoon bread, fried chicken, and even pecan pie are all fantastic! Our server Tim is also very good. Had a wonderful time here!

Great place to propose! We were celebrating my sister-in-law's graduation. Pasta was fresh but too much red sauce - probably ordered a wrong thing for myself but overall the experience was great. It is a special place and I really like the atmosphere there. Would recommend to book in advance.

Very good food, price was very reasonable compared to what our local restaurant charges for similar quality food. See photos for reference. Service was attentive and reservation was honored with great view inside the restaurant. The fact you can take a small stroll around the plantation was the added bonus.
