Jessica and the baristas were super friendly and welcoming, the whole place was really clean and inviting. The coffee was delicious, exactly what you would want from a coffee shop. I also tried the blueberry muffin (so good and fresh) and the espresso martini.

The espresso martini was next level. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in Charleston.

It’s cold out and went in for a hot cup of coffee, and my coffee was cold. Other than that it was a great experience.

Really cool location. The coffee (cold brew) was amazing! Not sure if she was the manager, but the girl Jess really knew coffee. I enjoy cold brew and like to know about the process at each place and the beans etc. most baristas have no clue other than how long they steep the cold brew for. But this girl knew it all! Bravo!

Great selection and products. Friendly people. I dont think most people know about going out back. Such a lovely, quiet and neat place to enjoy coffee and snack while escaping the buzz of king st.

Forgot to take pics while there.

Terrible place to try to get work done. Customer are loud don't use common courtesy, scrolling through videos without headphones and incessantly tapping hands and feet shaking floor and shared bar. The WiFi is great and there are outlets, but that's about it. The indoor space is very cramped with exposed screws that snag your clothing as you walk along with from enclaves. The staff is overworked and inattentive, and while the coffee is decent, the pastries are all premade food-service products.

First time to visit Mudhouse. Definitely a spot and in a pretty convenient location in the middle of historic Charleston. My wife and I always search for good coffee (which we found), but we also are always on the lookout for vibes. We were not disappointed. Would love to come back when the garden in the back is in bloom.

Of course yummy espresso martinis, but thank you for your service. We purchased a scale but unfortunately picked up the display box. Too often it would be jumping through hoops to make it right, but these guys made it so easy. Thank you again.

Their pop tart is one of the best pastries I’ve ever had!! Good drinks, although generic roasts of coffee beans. Great team and quick service. Cute ambiance.

Honestly the best coffee I’ve ever had—smooth, rich, and perfectly made. You can tell they care about every cup. The staff were wonderful: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited about what they do. The garden is so peaceful and beautiful that I completely lost track of time sitting out there with my laptop. Truly a hidden gem in Charleston.

During an overnight stay in Charleston, we were shopping on King Street and decided to stop at Mudhouse for a latte. The interior is wonderfully cozy and inviting, with a variety of seating arrangements perfect for either conversation or quiet work. We were immediately welcomed by a friendly staff member, and within minutes had a velvety, delicious latte in hand. Mudhouse is a fantastic spot to grab a hot or cold coffee and relax.

As a Charleston wedding vendor, I had the privilege of working with Lindsey Simpkins to plan and execute a beautiful wedding event at Mudhouse Specialty Coffee Roasters in Charleston. Lindsey’s organization, quick communication, and vision made the entire process seamless. Her professionalism paired with her warm personality turned collaboration into a joy, and the event came together flawlessly. I would gladly work with her again and highly recommend her to both couples and fellow vendors.

Mudhouse is a cozy little coffee shop, perfect for grabbing a drink and snack while taking a break from the busy streets. I had an iced latte and a pumpkin biscotti, and both were great. The space is small, but in a good way. It feels calm and tucked away from the crowds. Definitely recommend.

Abby makes the best coffee. Cinnamon is a close second though. Always friendly and makes me want to come back!
