Great beer with a solid Belgian backbone. Can sit and enjoy the slow rolling train while drinking great beer. Bartender was great at suggesting different beers to try. Definitely going back very soon. Several left to try. They also have to go beer. Try the BBA Grand National if you can get a bottle.

What a great find! I researched breweries in the area before arriving, and somehow these good folks were not on my radar. We stopped in on a whim, and wow—this is a gem. If you like European styles (Belgian, English, etc.) you'll be right at home. Our bartender/hostess took outstanding care of us, and I really wish I'd asked her name. The regulars were fun as well, and we picked up some terrific local knowledge. Give 'em a visit!

We hosted a surprise party for my husband at Munkle and it was the perfect location! Palmer was so helpful and accommodating for our group and it ended up being the perfect day. The patio is amazing and a great spot for a nice day. The beer is fantastic and there were plenty of non-alcoholic options as well. Thank you Palmer and Munkle staff for making my husband's 40th birthday a huge success!

Delicious beers in a laid back environment.

Had a wonderful time with more traditional brews which was refreshing after feeling like everywhere else had a way too many IPAs. Especially enjoyed the saisons and the brunes. Great barkeep and cozy atmosphere. Smaller interior tap room and uncovered patio but a great stop and would highly recommend while visiting in the area. Cheers!!

3 stars, extra star for the amazing Spanish food from Castejons that day. It was kind of a weird vibe here. There was a younger lady who was the only one with any personality or friendliness here. The beer was really good, exceptional even, it was just one of the weirder feeling breweries we visited that day, and if it's always like that I'd be grabbing beer to go. That food though, good lord. I'm going to be dreaming about those smokey chicken empanadas for a looonng time. My mouth is watering right now. Castejons is next level.

This is one of my Favorite Breweries in Charleston. Not only they have my favorite beers (Belgian & German), I love the location. Nothing like winding down after a long day with an ice cold beer that reminds me of being back in Europe with each sip either on their awesome Patio or in the Taproom. The staff is very helpful and informative. I also love that they are still Dog-Friendly which a lot of breweries in Charleston aren't. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it.

The beer selection was decent. There was no food offering, no food trucks, nothing.......on a Saturday. We settled for a few bags of potato chips. Also there was no service from the bar. We had to order at the bar and bring our own beers to the table. $6 and $8 for a 1/2 pour.....seems pricey, especially with no service. As a side note, they allow folks to bring their children. It's a bar for Pete's sake. WHO wants to hear kids? There should be some places that are adults only. We won't be back.

Some of the best beer I’ve ever had and definitely top tier in Charleston. It is more traditional German and Belgium styles but a nice break from the overly hoppy double IPA stuff that is getting old. Perfect beer for the hot climate in Charleston.

Great beers and great atmosphere. Their outdoor area was very cool, situated right next to the train tracks.Be aware, this place serves more traditional beer styles, and does them very well. Saisons, Belgians, pilsners, etc.You will not find the latest West Coast hop bomb guaranteed to make you recoil and pretend you like it to look cool in front of all your buddies. You won't find bubblegum or blue raspberry sours or a mocha frappucino imperial stout on nitro. But what they do, they do well.
