Muse Restaurant & Wine Bar

Everything was delicious except the carbonara was a little bland. And tuna carpaccio not much flavor. They need fans upstairs too.

We were celebrating a birthday and wedding anniversary and The Muse was fantastic. Donnie looked after us, the best host we have encountered in Charleston. The food was great as was the ambience. All of the staff at Muse are very welcoming. If you haven't been to Muse, you are missing out.

We went for my daughter's 24th birthday. We have visited multiple times before and everytime the food and service is outstanding. Donnie made this visit absolutely over the top! From the food to the drinks.

Muse was great at usual, even though I booked the patio on the hottest day of the year. The patio has fans and is covered so it was not uncomfortable. We brought visitors and all 4 of us enjoyed our meals. We began with the heirloom tomatoes and burrata, which we shared. Two of us chose the daily swordfish perfectly cooked, the third chose the fettuccini, and the fourth ricotta ravioli, and a shared side of brussels sprouts. All the food was delicious. And we were not rushed between servings, which is important to my dining experiences. We chose Several of our items with the help of the long time Muse waiter Donnie. He knows the restaurant's menu thoroughly and we took his suggestions and he didn't steer us wrong. The patio can be quiet as most of our visits were, but this night we shared it with a group who thought outside voices were necessary even though the patio is mostly walled off.

Our waiter that looked like Zach Galifianakis from the movie hangover was simply, awesomeness.

Amazing dinner and service. We were early for our reservation, they are always accommodating.

Not a place for a romantic dinner. They allow group dinners to be as loud as they want including hooping and hollering.

The food, the atmosphere, the service was amazing 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Definitely a must try you will not be disappointed.

A creative menu with great service from the waitstaff. The wine we ordered was unavailable and Donnie replaced it with a more expensive bottle of wine, at the same price as the one we originally ordered. Our dinner was superb. My spouse ordered a shrimp dish which she loved and I had spanakopita, which was delicious. Donnie knew many of the diners, so a lot of locals eat here. So glad we found this restaurant on Trip Advisor!

The two chicken the fried chicken was making but the grilled chicken was tasteless. The gnocchi was ok. The Bolognese was just ok. I have had better at other places. Felt the pasta was too dry.

Just have Donny (spelling?) or whoever waits on you decide what to eat for you. It's wonderful food and drink; and expect generosity in their hospitality. Fun experience! Awesome to have a place that is confident in serving you food of their choice when you're not feeling obliged to make any decisions.

If you’re just visiting Charleston or have lived here for years, you need to dine at Muse! Set in a historic building tucked away on a side street in the heart of Charleston. This feels like a secret place that won’t disappoint. The place has friendly staff, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. I will be coming back!

Go here!!! This place was so beautiful and the ambiance was cozy and peaceful. I felt right at home at muse. Donny served us and I won’t lie I was in a dark place in my life. Donny showed me a display of foods that only could be blessed by God. The drinks, appetizers, mains and dessert was heavenly. Every bite was divine and I will have memories I will have forever. Try it all and come with an open mind.

Our evening at Muse was incredible! Donny made our night so special and the food was out of this world. I am beyond grateful that this where we went to celebrate big life changes with delicious food and incredible drinks. I will definitely be back time and time again!
