I had a to-go order of corned beef and cabbage the day before St Patty's Day. It seemed like I stood near the front for a few minutes and then at the bar. No one acknowledged me. I finally sat at a table until a waitress acknowledged me. She seemed busy but attentive. At home when I was eating I noticed a reddish brown leaf in my food. It seemed foreign to me, so a couple of days later I called to ask about it. I asked to speak to the chef, and what sounded like a younger smug black guy who had answered the phone seemed to have an ego problem when I asked about the leaf. I asked if he was the chef and he told me that he was right there with the chef. He seemed to have a problem with me talking to the chef. I asked him if a leaf was supposed to be in the food as part of the seasoning. I asked him if maybe a bay leaf was used. He said yes but I'm not sure if I believed him. I then asked him if there was maybe cloves in it. He gave me a smart-ass answer like he couldn't give away the secrets or all the ingredients. Everyone has the right to know what is in their food. Especially with some people having food allergies. He told me that I would just have to come back and order it again. Based on his lack of cooperation and his attitude I don't think I want to return to that establishment. The corned beef and cabbage was not that good either. I don't think they have to worry about me stealing that recipe. Thinking about taking the leaf to a DHEC lab to be analyzed.

My husband and I stopped here by chance because we were on the island. We got lucky that Tuesdays are $10 burgers, and I’m glad it was because they are not at all worth full price. Our server was pleasant enough, there was essentially no one in the pub beside a couple patrons at the bar. I tried to order nachos and they were out of their cheese sauce and we’re still prepping it which feels strange to be prepping cheese sauce at 3 pm when they open at 11 am but stuff happens. My husband and I both ended up ordering the royale with cheese. The burger portion was incredibly small as well as the portion of your choice of sides. The burger its self tasted fantastic but the serving size felt like a kids meal. Definitely left hungry, would not have paid $13 per burger on a regular day, and definitely won’t be returning

Cozy pub. Comfy atmosphere. Shuffleboard, darts, and pool to keep ya occupied. Good selection of UK brew. Nice food offerings.

Easily the worst shepherds pie I’ve ever had. The few morsels of ground beef included were gray and tasted old. Huge waste of money.

This is a good go-to place for lunch after my buddies and I go to the gun range. Limited (but good) offering of beers on tap. Tuesday is reduced price burgers. Service has always been good with very pleasant waitresses.

Overall the place is great and entertains a mixed crowd. Pool tables and shuffleboard are both fun. The wait staff is attentive and quick. But definitely understaffed when we went the past couple of trivia nights.
The menu changed and the portion sizes dropped, but that's actually good because they were way oversized before. Drinks are a good poor. Fun little Irish pub, games with authentic cuisine.

Usually a quiet bar with a good beer selection, except on Wednesdays, when it is packed and lively due to team trivia. Great bartenders!

Not recommended for minorities! My husband and I “attempted” to dine here on last night (12/20). We waited well over 20 minutes, the restaurant wasn’t crowded, yet we were never greeted, a waitress never came to our table to acknowledge us, but they made sure the customers at the bar were well taken care of. I wouldn’t recommend this place!!!

M. Ultra cost 5.80. I was charged 7.00. Chris that was wrong you over charge me for no reason. Im sick and tired of people robbing people and no one does a thing about it! It’s okay…when someone over charges you don’t be mad take it like I did! There is no three sides to a story! I’m telling the truth!
