I’m truly sad I ate my signature sashimi flight without taking a photo. It was the most delicious sashimi I have ever had and was gorgeous.
The black magic was also outstanding as well as the donut hole dessert. Our server had great recommendations and was very attentive as well.
We are only in Charleston a couple days and I’m already scheming on how to come back and eat again before we leave!

Had a GREAT experience at O-Ku Charleston. Our server Kathy was soooo amazing. My boyfriend and I had never had Sake before, so we tried the sake flight for $35 which was so fun. We got the crispy rice, which was so good we got a second order. We also got salmon nigiri, tamago nigiri, dumplings, and the playboy roll. We got the passionfruit chocolate dessert, lychee martinis and old fashions. This is one of my new favorite sushi restaurants!! Also, love the interior, and they don't have too many tables to where it is too loud/ overwhelming. Great ambiance!

Went in on a wintery Monday and Liam, Julia, and Sam made my night. Exceptional service all around and attentive staff. Great high-quality fish options for nigiri and sashimi and perfect ambiance. Will definitely come back for these folks!
The wild mushroom appetizer is divine. I've never had anything like it anywhere before. It's ample and delicious with a soupçon of mint to balance the earthy mushroom medley. Drinks are perfection and staff is lovely.

O-Ku is a wonderful place for good food. Our server was attentive. The food came out at a good pace and well plated. It's nice to have a variety of choices since some in our party don't eat sushi.

Did not appreciate the treatment when we came here. The sushi was okay overall, but when the restaurant is not crowded, and you’re seated in the very back as a brown person, it definitely sends a message. Will not patronize this restaurant again. Should have left after we were seated.

O'Ku has been recommended as a favorite overall restaurant in Charleston and I finally indulged . It is a must if you are in Charleston! The sushi was amazing , our server was very knowledgeable and upbeat ;she definitely made the overall experience top notch. The ambience and decor very warm and inviting . Now, It's my favorite place to eat in Charleston! We are gluten free and our server let us know they could accommodate all of the sushi to be gluten free- truly an exceptional restaurant!

Amazing sushi! It’s a little pricey, but reasonable for downtown Charleston. The atmosphere was beautiful and romantic with dim lighting and a very aesthetic vibe. Our waiter was also very kind and attentive. Great food and a great overall experience—we really enjoyed it.
