Not bad but also not memorable at all. The food and the service were all acceptable but lacked any features that would be distinguishable from other sushi restaurants. On the plus side, the restaurant lighting makes the restaurant look quite appealing from the outside after dark.

My husband and I stopped in based on a recommendation. The dumplings were amazing. The blue fin tuna was incredible, spicy tuna and spider roll were some of the best. Sam (I am) our waiter was excellent, funny, on top of our needs, great all around. Looking forward to a return visit.

We had a fabulous time at O-Ku! Our server, Michael, was outstanding as always. Highlights were the Hamachi Crudo and Chef's special selection of sashimi and nigiri. We will be back!

We are visitors to Charleston and our first time at O-Ku based on a recommendation from a friend. This restaurant did not disappoint! Our server Alyssa was friendly, attentive and personable. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was not stuffy but rather comfortable and made us feel like we could stay for hours. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back anytime I return to Charleston! :)

We went to O-Ku for my wife’s birthday, and they made it really special, surprising us with mochi ice cream to celebrate. The cocktails (highly recommend the Peachy King) were excellent, and everything we ordered was spot on. The sushi was fresh, the edamame perfectly seasoned, and the bao buns were fantastic. Great service, cool atmosphere, and a perfect spot for a night out in Charleston.
