The food was good but not phenomenal. A little too pricey for lunch sandwiches. I got the falafel sandwich and fries and it was good. The falafel was cooked really well, which is sometimes difficult for restaurants to do.

Everything was delicious and the waitress was very polite and attentive.

We split Stephens Greek special platter along with a cocktail each. Simply, it was excellent. Service was very good, but perfunctory. The server did their job well, but there was little human touch. Nonetheless, a five.

Marvelous cuisine and friendly staff. My gyro was perfection, so that's my recommendation.

Delicious (but pricey for lunch). The Greek salad had way more gyro meat than I expected.

Best Greek food in this hemisphere. Lots of seafood options as well. Greek chicken & potatoes never gets old for me all soups are the best ever.

Old town grill&sea food is a Greek restaurant! Good portion size and u get a good value. Average price, food is tasty, beef I liked the most. U can order the platter with beef, lamb, chicken and pork plus fries only $30 good for 2 hungry person. Staff is nice and friendly! Service very fast, high speed WiFi!

Looking for a place to eat downtown while visiting from Jacksonville there was a lot of traffic, both walking and driving and some really high priced pretentious places to eat. We ventured on until we came to a less traveled relaxed area and saw Old Towne. We were not disappointed. The lemon chicken soup was amazing with Nicely done calamari and the best Greek potatoes! The server was on top of things and the price was right! Great job Old Towne!

Horrible service. $29 Lamb kebab was so tough that I suspicion it was not lamb. I eat a lot of lamb and trust me I’ve never had lamb that was this tough. Our other entrée was definitely not worth the money we paid. Would not recommend

I can't speak highly enough!! As a child my family had a weekly ritual of dinner there on Friday nights(1979-1984) back when the Steve platters were actually a gigantic platter that GENOROUSLY fed a family of 4. Life changed a lot and it eventually stopped being our go to. Probably bc my brother and I aged into weekend social lives. Anyway.... Eventually they added a location in West Ashley (where Kicken Chicken is now) and it was a no brainer to have my wedding rehearsal dinner there. They bent over backwards to make the special night magical. Years after that my then husband and I lived in N Charleston. Again, we used the banquet room for his parents 70th joint birthday party. We already made it our go to for smaller gatherings of friends. No matter us the group was 10 or 30, the management made it an effortless event. Sadly over time both WA and NC closed. But even after a horrible fire downtown stuck it out through thick and thin. 25 years later as my 50th birthday approached I knew immediately where I wanted to have celebration. Old Towne! Yet again not only met but exceeded every expectation, allowed tremendous freedom, and accommodated any request I had. I met with mngr Mike Rutledge nearly a month out to look at space and decide what would go where and when, decorations, the way I wanted seating... Everything was followed to a T. We had a private bar and dedicated bartender who was funny as she was swift! The cocktail hour hors dourves were presented beautifully! We were having so much fun we decided to delay dinner buffet by a full hr... Again, response was "Not a problem, whatever we can do for you". Every question asked while planning, every change along the way, same response. Mike himself brought me my bday cake while guests sang so no guest would have to miss it. That's way over and above! My guests loved the space and being in the heart of downtown (lots of people from out of town) and those from here lived the trip down memory lane. The flavors of everything were just as we remembered from being kids! I can't begin to reccomended enough for your next event, bug or small, and certainly advise anyone reading this to check them out for a great family dinner or casual date. Loved everything, made a dreaded birthday the best night in years! Bravo to everyone who played a part!

Great food, but is there any chance the staff could stop slinging dishes into bus pans and behind counter?? Very nerve wracking!!

It had been there for over 50 years...yes Greek fast food, gyros, chicken, not bad but expensive for what it offers ( $12 for a gyro sandwich is a lot knowing that a larger sandwich in Greece will cost you abt $3.50). The pricing maybe an issue of touristy Charleston and comparable to other establishments. It is fresh and cooked right there... Excellent idea to offer Greek potatoes ( ance I did not know what Greek potatoes are, I asked and the waitress said "they are boiled with tomatoes and something". I realized it's the typical potato salad this Greeks make using potatoes, tomato, onions, parsley, some put in olives, dressed with immune oil vinaigrette. Very tasty, try it instead of French fries which I also tried and they were very very good... If you in the mood for something Greek, fresh and fast, go...
