Paisano's Pizza Grill

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but this time I felt it was necessary. I’ve personally worked at this restaurant, just like my brother and other various family members have through out high school and beyond. So I know what this restaurant can be. Last night I took my family there to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and was thoroughly upset by the service and food. We placed a relatively large order that was repeatedly messed up. First, we were told the drink machine was down after being sold fountain cups but was told I have to pay the differential for bottled soda. Then, our appetizers came out after some of the food. From there, our pizza and sandwiches came out over the course of thirty minutes, including after other parties who arrived after us. We got every excuse from pizzas getting caught in the oven from the kitchen was busy. However, the amount of staff they had on 6/6/25 was more than enough and I can’t tell you how many times we saw employees in the back standing around, taking selfies, etc. And to top it all off the kitchen then forgot about our desert order, making us wait an additional 20 minutes and get that order to go. The front end staff was extremely unprofessional, rude or not knowledgeable about the menu. Extremely upsetting for a restaurant that used to be so good. I personally worked with Ralph for years, who I believe is now the manager. I know how much of a good guy and hard worker he is. Crazy to think this restaurant could have gotten this bad under his management.

That pizza was just what we were looking for. The real deal Italian style.

Great lunch specials throughout the week. My team and I usually go 2xs a week.

Definitely would AVOID this place. The pizza is horrific. The toppings slide off the pizza and just overall the taste is gross. Service is horrible as you have to wait your own table and place your own orders. Definitely skip this place my lord.

Stick with the James island location which is awesome. Service is very very poor here at WA location. Got hung up on twice by receptionist. They close at 11pm and I called 830 one night to get delivery. They said they weren’t doing delivery at that time on a Friday night. Called back on a Sunday to get delivery to my work at the hospital right around the corner in west Ashley and receptionist claimed she “didn’t think” they deliver to hospitals. Laziness.

Rocky Balboa pizza fell a bit short, meat could be better maybe? but fried mushrooms and cannoli balls were 5 stars.

Per the delivery driver instructions I will be ordering from Domino's in the future.

Sad to give 3 stars to my favorite pizza restaurant but the last couple times I’ve ordered from this location have been bad experiences. I ordered delivery a few weeks ago and it looked like my pizza was dropped and thrown around… i gave it another chance and this time I ordered pickup to avoid having any issues and discovered I was given all drums, no flats AND they didn’t put a lid on one of the sauce ramekins. Needless to say, this savage rd resident is NOT ordering from this paisanos location again.

The girl at the counter set the tone for this one. What an attitude she had.
The garlic knots were the most rubbery nasty things I've ever had. Thr pizza wasnt bad, and the salad had pretty rubbery chicken in it. Just low quality and the food wasnt great. Service and food here aren't good at all. I got the grilled chicken salad, a medium pizza and some garlic knots. The garlic knots im not joking at all were so rubbery. It kinda seems like they just made them from biscuit dough. No flavor. Ill never spend money at this place again.

The pizza used to be good. Management has ruined this place. The staff is rude and the food quality has gone way downhill. At least the prices have kept up with inflation. Used to love this place. I've had my last slice at Paisano's

Always good pizza, wings, sandwiches and salads. We eat here almost weekly and have never had a bad experience.

Wings were cooked fine but zero flavor. Mozz sticks were about as good as Arby’s. Pizza crust was overcooked

Will not be returning anytime soon. Decided to give them another try since it’s been over six months since last time but craved pizza so gave them another try and was disappointed. Overpriced ( $59.00 for a pizza, mushroom app, chicken finger kids meal, and ordered Cinna Styx but weren’t in order when I got home). Pizza was pretty good although could have had a little more toppings for a large pizza, chicken fingers burnt (see pic) and no Cinnamon Styx.

Pizza was excellent and the service was quick and courteous. Salads are fresh and well prepared.
