Cool space, there was a large party there so we went to the far back bar that was nice and cozy. Gobble Gobble was tasty, and the potatoes rounds were amazinggg

Great brewery tucked away in a quiet part of Charleston. We enjoyed hanging inside and playing games while enjoying some IPAs. Lots of other options as well! The outdoor beer garden was great for a nice day and is dog friendly!

I was so happy to have stumbled across this place! The beer selection was fantastic, even having some from other breweries. Everything I tried was top notch and the atmosphere was fantastic with friendly service and even a stage outside. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

Its a good, easy to get to brewery downtown without all the tourist crowds. It's quite small in terms of seating inside and out. A smaller menu as well, I wasnt over the moon with their sour beer.Parking is apparent, which is under the nearby bridge. I'd be a little concerned about it after dark for sure. It is also unpaved and can be muddy after a rain.

I can here today with a friend and my baby to check out the fall vegan market! There were so many great vendors.I have enjoyed Palmetto Brewing beers before but finally got to do so at the actual brewery! Lots of space outside although we opted to sit inside. I had the Oktoberfest which was really good. This place is kid friendly and I also appreciated that the JMU game was on!

Born and raised in Charleston, returned home with my wife for vacation only to be harassed and bullied by an employee who clocked out only to sit on the bar side of the brewery and make a decent evening political. Thankfully his girlfriend could tame him enough to silence his harassment enough to make him leave. There is no place for politics in customer service and especially when that employee himself became a customer. Find another brewery.

Friendly and attentive staff, inviting atmosphere. Plenty of brews ranging from sours to IPA's. Proximity to the Joe makes it a must before a Riverdogs game!

We love popping up with Fairy Hair at Palmetto Brewing! The staff is amazing and so helpful! The manager, Leslie, is the best. She is welcoming and always makes sure we have a successful event! The beers are tasty and the vibes are on point! Thanks for everything!-Fairy Hair Tinsel by Tibby

Delicious beer. Wide selection. Awesome atmosphere and space. Food not worth it but beer is worth the stop

I emailed them to let them know about a potential issue with one of their beer batches (tasted metallic and really off), and their customer service rep went above and beyond to help and promised to send a gift card since we had to throw that pack away.

Palmetto Brewing Co is such a great vibe! The bartenders are knowledgeable and very welcoming. Phillip was a huge help and suggested a great beer that I loved. There are lots of beer options on tap and in cans; wine and seltzers are also available. Will definitely be back!

Not that friendly of service. Food truck only doing food for private event (no signage for). Clueless bartender didn’t know food truck wasn’t doing regular service. Employee outside directed us to a locked door. Steer clear and go to a brewery where the employees know which way is up. You think a brewery that has been around for 30 years would be better run, maybe another brewery should take its place?

Dog heaven is the first thing that comes to mind after spending time at Palmetto Brewing Co. we sat outside on the patio, got food from the Gobble Gone food truck, and enjoyed all of the dogs who were hanging out while their owners enjoyed a brewskie. Because I don't drink, I can't speak to the beer itself, but as a whole, this brewery is a fun place to hang with friends.

Not bad. Broad selection of beers from them and some of their sister/affiliate breweries. Standard brewery stuff - they do flights, and they had a food truck in front. It might have just been down to timing of when I went, but the patio area was kinda quiet, not much of a vibe at that time.If I'm in town again I'll have to swing by when there's more going on!
