Family stopped for dessert on the way back to our hotel and both the service and the quality of the various dishes were excellent. The young lady working was very helpful and patient.
The best gelato and cannoli’s! Also, he sells biscotti (and a variety of other authentic Italian items)that is out of this world!!! We had the pleasure of getting to chat with the owner. He was so pleasant and hospitable. We will definitely be back every time we come to Charleston. Thank you Paolo for a great conversation and superb desert experience.

Simply, some of the best gelato I've ever had! My wife had been coming here for years and I can't believe I hadn't eaten here before! If you are in the neighborhood and need some good, old-fashioned, creamy gelato, look no further. Paolo's will not disappoint. They're flavors change frequently, so coming back another day will lend to a new experience! The inside is cozy and feels warm and inviting. Make sure this is on your list when in Charleston!
