Not the best food or Bloody Mary. Arrived at 9am ready for brunch and Bloody Marys, was told they can't serve alcohol until 10am, no where on the website or signage inside did it say this and we're handed the drink list. Ordered coffee and was never freshened. Benedict Crab cakes had bits of shell in it. once food was served, never saw the waitress again until 10am when she brought us the Bloody Marys. I do not recommend them. only drank a few sips, paid the bill then left.
We stumbled upon Park & Grove after drooling over their brunch menu online, seriously, it looked like a Food Network daydream. But by the time my daughter got off work, it was 3PM, and apparently, that’s when the brunch dreams end and the “special menu” with just five items takes center stage.
A little disappointing? Yeah. Understandable from a business perspective? Also yeah.
We did venture into the unknown and tried their brioche with peaches and brie. My daughter was not impressed, her face said it all, but I’ll admit, I kinda loved it. Sweet, savory, weird, but in a way that makes you think about it later like a mysterious text from an ex.
The vibe was super chill, almost too chill. Like, tumbleweeds-could-roll-through quiet. But hey, sometimes low-key is exactly what you need after a long day.
Will I be back? Absolutely. But next time, I’m showing up on time for brunch. From 3 to 6PM? Meh, let’s just say the magic was napping.
Love this place! Bartender is a wizard!
Food is decent, but service is seriously slow and distracted. Given the price, won’t happen again.
Photos are completely inaccurate. Horrible menu and food
Really awesome hidden gem within the neighborhoods of Charleston South Carolina.Check it out
We came for cocktails, so I can only speak to the drinks, service and atmosphere.
I had the Café Mole and the server warned me that it was more of a winter beverage, but I loved it!! It was just what I needed. I wanted an espresso martini but with a bit of a twist and this was it! I was worried there might be too much nutmeg or spice for my liking but all the flavors came together perfectly! You can only taste the chili in the after taste and it's very subtle. I would 100% get this drink again!
My husband had some sort of latte with bourbon and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not much of a bourbon fan, but I would've had that one as well. 🤣 Subtle notes that came together for a great combo!
Our friends had the Cosmos that were on happy hour and seemed to enjoy them.
The patio is kind of situated on an open lot across from a bus stop, so be aware that it's not super private. The indoor seating looked chic and clean.
We'd visit again!
Great food and dog friendly! They have an outdoor covered space with heaters. The pear salad and tomato bisque were fresh and tasty!

Outstanding service, food and atmosphere. That is a hidden gem and that whole neighborhood is so lucky to have it all to themselves. Can’t go wrong on the menu with genuine talent in the Kitchen.

Romantic, great specials, and the staff was amazing! Oh, yeah, the food. I had the duck confit, bread service, and arugula arugula salad. Chef's kiss 🧑🏼🍳💋

Bottomline: overpriced, small portions, mediocre service. We walked in from homecoming events at The Citadel, unfortunately, with no reservation. First, the hostess was rude and ice cold. Coming in w no reservation was a sin, evidently. And I asked about the kitchen and turn around time on service as we had less than an hour to get our cadets back. More attitude from the hostess for asking. “One thing at a time!”, she said. We sat at the bar where service was better. Food: small egg sandwich w half a grapefruit—$16. Small double patty burger - $22. Lukewarm water. We’re local…won’t go back.

Charming Atmosphere, but Low Value
We went here for brunch to this conveniently located close to downtown, with easy access and a relatively quiet setting neighborhood. Parking is across the street so if you have a tough time walking or handicap you may have to think it through. I’m not sure if there was handicap parking. The atmosphere, from the parking lot across the street to when you walk inside, creates a homey feel, neighborhood vibe. It’s pretty welcoming and warm charm.
However once seated, things were not as smooth. The chairs at the table were uncomfortable, which made it harder to relax and enjoy talking after meal etc. The menu is concise but also offers unique food and drinks that I suspect to appeal to many. The food itself was good, flavorful- but I can’t say it was great value for the price. The drinks, while looking great on the menu, were a bit disappointing; as I received a drink almost all ice. The drink did not last and probably got only 5 sips out of it.
Another issue was the eggs. We asked for them to be well done but they came out being looser than well done. For what it is worth we did not send the eggs back but we didn’t want the other foods to get cold.
Overall, the experience was decent. I appreciate the cozy vibe but I believe there are better options around town that offer more value and comfort.
