Visiting from Colorado, I was very disappointed!!!Customer Service was horrible!!! There was hardly anyone in the place. However, we sat at the table for 15-20 minutes and no server ever approached to get our drink order or ask us if we needed anything. There were two servers in our area that never looked our way. The Host /Hostess just smiled and didn't say anything when we got up to leave.
We sat at the bar as the restaurant was not busy. The bartender was attentive and nice. We ordered raw oysters, a lobster roll, seafood pasta, and oyster shooters and hush puppies. Needless to say, the lobster roll was actually a lobster hotdog bun. Which is misleading and most certainly overpriced. The taste was decent, but I've had delightful lobster ROLLS before that was delicious as well, so good we ordered two more to take with us. The oyster shooter was made with excessive liquor and hard to digest. We were disappointed with the taste 😞! I witnessed one of the workers using his hands to pick up tortilla chips after touching his hair 😳 and the hush puppies were undercooked. The raw oysters were decent enough, nothing like we have ever had before, especially after eating the best raw oysters, oyster shooters, and steamed shrimp, drinks and the food was amazing in Columbia SC the prior week at Pearlz.
Great service from Sydney!! First time experiencing raw oysters and she knew exactly which ones to try! The other employees also had great hospitality!
Love sitting at the bar for oyster shots. The painkiller is amazing. The oysters are to die for.
Pleasantly surprised. Top notch cuisine for a local establishment that appears to simply be a local bar. Interesting menu with emphasis of fresh seafood , well prepared and nicely presented. Real comfortable and casual setting. Great service ( thank you Angela) . Recently relocated from Summerville to West Ashley, this will be a on my list of go to places!
We came today for Father’s Day. The restaurant is so cute and the servers were nice but kind of clueless. They brought several plates to our table that we didn’t order and didn’t have silverware on the table for the food the brought. The food we did order was very mediocre. The shrimp and grits were bland and tasted a little undercooked and like straight white wine. The fish tacos were so pitiful, no flavor very much do not recommend them. The appetizers were good though. All in all, I don’t think we’d try here again.
One of the worst meals ive had in Charleston. The red wine sauce was not reduced. Proteins were overcooked. Orders were put in wrong. This awful food took forever.
Never, ever coming back.
Food was ok. The gumbo was not good. But everything else was great.
Great happy hour for oysters!

We accidently came across this place. I was looking for a restaurant that served Charleston/SC famous steamed oysters. Our hotel manager suggested this place. It was away from touristy downtown Charleston but near to our hotel.
The ambiance was very relaxed and informal. They had steamed oysters on menu. Much cheaper if you make it to happy hour. Our server Nicky was charming and very helpful. He told us if we come on Wednesdays they have special on wine bottle (half price). We were new to the whole oyster scene. So he brought the chef (Matt) to our table to demonstarate how to shuck oysters correctly (South Carolana styel).
The steamed oysters were great. Cocktail sauce was very good. And they also had brown butter to dip oysters which I never had with oysters. Delicious!!!
Highly recommend this place if you want to try local authentic real Charleston grub away from touristy downtown.

Excellent clam chowder. Wife and I shared the fried seafood platter, with oysters, shrimp and fish. Yum.
Tom, at the bar, did a fine job of keeping tabs on us.
Recommend.

A decent spot with nice fresh seafood. The oysters and peel n eat shrimp were great but the ceviche wasn’t my favorite.
