Have not eaten here in years and need to come back. The dinner I did have was very good.

Exceptional food and service. Our waiter did everything he could to make sure we had a great overall dining experience. Nothing we requested he was not able to do for us. We couldn't be more pleased with how we were treated and the friendliness of the entire staff.
While the food was very tasty my food was warm, not hot. The noise level was energetic which made it difficult to hear my dinner guests. However, I will return as it's a favorite destination.
Our server, Michelle, was superb! Our meals were excellent, and I finally found a bartender who knows how to make a great "dark and stormy!' We will return often!
The food was absolutely amazing! I had the 8 oz petit filet, Brussel sprouts, and whipped mashed potatoes.

From Australia to Charleston, I have NEVER seen some one as disrespectful as the waiter at Pennisula Grill. He stared down my dates dress the entire time until he knocked a full glass of water in my lap for not paying attention due to staring at her. I was soaked. From then I asked for the manager as the waiter sat away from the table laughing and being inconsiderate still staring at her… long story short, nothing was compensated for, neither an apology. I’ve had better service at McDonald’s.

Went there for my daughter's 15th Birthday and it was excellent. The food was incredible, we will definitely be back, I definitely recommend it if you want a high end fine dinning experience. Tomahawk steak was excellent, service was excellent, the menu variety was excellent.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Peninsula Grill. While our tomahawk steak took longer than expected to cook, the way the staff handled the situation was beyond exceptional. They graciously comped our meal and, on top of that, surprised us with complimentary caviar and oysters.
It was our anniversary, and this level of thoughtfulness truly felt like a blessing. The service was attentive, kind, and genuinely caring, turning what could have been a delay into a memorable and special celebration.
This is the definition of excellent hospitality. We were so grateful and will absolutely be returning. Thank you, Peninsula Grill, for making our 16th anniversary unforgettable.

I feel like this is a place that relies on reputation and a high priced menu. The food was fine, but truly nothing spectacular - we sent back a highly overcooked fish special, powered through an over-salted risotto and the steak was fine. However, I think the most painful part of the experience was the service. We sat on the patio, which was lovely, but it certainly felt like we were in no-man’s land. We went long stretches with dirty plates in front of us and no sight of our server, and when our server was present, he didn’t really seem to have time to offer suggestions or discuss the menu. The whole reason we made this reservation was to try the famous coconut cake. Unfortunately, it was dry - so that was the “cherry” on top of a disappointing evening. Maybe it was an off night, maybe it was the patio, but I think there are a LOT of incredible restaurants to Charleston, and I wouldn’t put this one the list.
