Platia Greek Goodness in West Ashley is absolutely phenomenal. The food is amazing from start to finish—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything tastes authentic and well-balanced, with generous portions that leave you more than satisfied.
The standout for me is the cilantro dip. Easily one of the best dips I’ve had anywhere. Creamy, bright, and packed with flavor, it elevates everything you pair it with. Honestly, I’d come back just for that alone.
If you’re in West Ashley and even remotely craving Greek food, this place is a must-try.

I used to be a huge fan of this place and have been eating here consistently for 2.5 years… but recently have encountered inconsistent food and rude service on my last two visits. I order through their website every time… and may be a reason for the issues but management can figure that out. Customer service on the other hand isn’t a technical issue.
Two visits ago the order was not ready when I arrived (order and pick up time confirmed via text). Upon talking to the cashier, the ticket was apparently never printed or given to the cooks. Instead of apologizing or trying to make it right, the cashier did not take responsibility or try to prioritize the order to make it right. I then waited 25 more minutes for my food, an hour after the order was submitted and confirmed. I tried to submit a note to the “how was your meal” automated text… but that system didn’t work either.
Tonight, I ordered for my entire family who was in town. The gyro has a photo of fries with it… one would think it was included if it is in the photo OR there would be a disclaimer on the website that fries are NOT included. Needless to say there was disappointment by my guest when fries were not included with the meal. Since the restaurant is around the corner, I gave them a call to see if it was a mistake and was once again met with subpar customer service that told me I ordered incorrectly. When asked why it was in the photo and listed in the description, she responded “you should have ordered a side then, there are a couple fries in the gyro”… a simple taking ownership of the confusing website photo would have gone a long way. Needless to say the other meals were put together sloppily with dressing containers tossed in hummus… not the food quality that I used to get from here and certainly not the customer service.
It’s a shame… hopefully they can figure out the website and customer service.

I normally don’t do reviews but this place is AMAZING!! Scarfed it down in literally 10 mins. Dropped my last piece of chicken in the couch and washed it off to eat it. You have to try this place!
