This place was a madhouse on a Saturday afternoon, but for very good reason. The setup is a bit disorientating at first, but makes sense; you order at the glass first, where they’re making the sandwiches, get a ticket to pay at the register, and then wait anywhere you can stand. Dining is standing room only as well, but we did choose to dine in.

The bread used for the sandwiches is an incredible focaccia, golden crisp but soft on the inside. The ingredients are fresh: tomato, basil, olive oil, pear, pesto, and mozzarella. The prosciutto is cut while you watch on an old fashioned crank driven deli slicer. The staff is working over time serving up dozens of sandwiches including their porchetta with horseradish.

We topped it off with some cannoli and Peligrino. Everyone was very polite (customers and staff), and the management did check to ensure you were enjoying the food if you decided to dine in.

Chicken Milanese and iced vanilla latte are out of this world. Everyone is friendly it just takes a while to get your food.

Went to pick up a prime rib sandwich. It was late in the day but they said they could make it. The sandwich is $21.00. I asked if it would be ok since it was late in the day. They said no problem the prime rib was fine. When I got home and tried to eat the sandwich it was very little chopped up meat with grissel. They should not have served it. For $21.00 that should not be the case. 2nd time I was disappointed.

The best porchetta and focaccia sandwich I have ever had!

Great place but was disappointed finding out they put what they call “crackling” on their porchetta instead of the actual roasted skin from the porchetta roast like a true porchetta sandwich. Overall still a great place 👍🏽

Best thing i ever put in my mouth. The porchetta sandwich was so good I started to look for places at home to try to find something close to it. Couldn't find it. The sandwich was so great that I can only have it there or else every porchetta sandwich doesn't compare.

Salty way overpriced sandwich for the amount of meat on it. It should be called the Focaccia Shop

Once again, what’s up with their attitude?
The same white girl with ring on her nose, seems like she hates to work there, her costumer service skills are terrible and ruins the entire experience. The food is great, I love it, but it always gets ruined but her condescending way to try to “explain” something from the menu, or the apathetic way to give you your sandwich, she never say “your welcome”, and it looks so annoyed if I ask anything…. Shame, cause the food is good, but now rather be treated at least with respect.

DRY sandwich! Bread to meat and topping ratio is way off and it was missing the pickled cherry peppers that were listed on the menu. There’s only 2 types of milk for
your coffee- skim and oat. No friendly greeting when you walk in. Maybe only the Porchetta sandwiches are good, I don’t know but I wish I bought lunch elsewhere.

Possibly the best sandwich in Charleston! Thomas at the front is great too. Give the man a raise and the whole place. You’re doing it right! I haven’t been this excited about a restaurant in a minute. Appreciate what y’all are doing!
